Hairy art
Broad strokes and intense colour palettes that feed my imagination, the smell of paint, the history a painting represents, the legacy of a famous painter, and so on. I love the idea of keeping art alive and was very intrigued by the Furry Art Collection, created by the Turkish artist Murat Yildirim. The idea is simple: to recreate known art pieces by adding fur to the mix. Van Gogh’s Starry Night became Furry Night and Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa resurfaced as Furry Lisa - quirky, fun and creative. You can check the result of his work here.
