my sis and i have been watching the 2001 fruits basket and wow im rly rly bummed to realize i significantly prefer it to the new one

one of my favorite parts of furuba is momiji is technically a love interest character. like we all know tohru doesn't like him that way, but he hasn't removed himself from the picture, even in the epilogue he's still trying to win her over and i think that's neat

Hatori, completely misunderstanding and thinking Momiji is saying he loves dick: I'm glad you feel comfortable coming out to me

the fact that Aya is referred to as "you know who" means 3 things

1. He's visited the school

2. everyone of the student council (except sawa) has met him

3. They all fear him (except Mutsuki)

and that is hilarious to me

I relate to Sora because I too would glom onto every and all sohmas given the chance

For two characters that are introduced as a duo, Momiji and Hatori rarely get screen time together :/
