What's the Quality Control on your masks?

I try my best to prevent chips and air bubbles from occurring in casts, and sometimes have to put a piece back into a mold multiple times to “patch” those. I don’t sell pieces with issues like that if I can’t fix them. I’m considering doing a “scratch and dent” sort of sale for pieces like that…

The resin is sturdy and flexible, but not as strong as lego’s ABS plastic blend, and rarely masks can get smashed in the mail - I think the solution to this is letting the part sit in warm water for a bit. The pieces usually retain their shape slowly in the water.

If that sort of problem occurs, I offer a choice - if it cannot be fixed, the buyer has the option of a refund, a replacement, or a re-cast (assuming the mold for that part still exists) - if they send me a message within the first week of receiving the part with photographs documenting the damage.

The smashing issue tends to depend on the mailing services of the areas I send pieces out to, however… I’ve sent parts out to eastern Europe (more than 10 in a bubble mailer!) with no issues, and then a single piece 3 states away… with the single piece getting crushed. I have since acquired some reinforced cardboard mailers, so that issue should not be occurring any more - I won’t send things out in bubble mailers anymore unless I’m sure the pieces are strong enough that they will be safe.  As for other QC - mainly the fitting of pieces on heads, generally peg and stud connectors are perfectly fine. Occasionally, the G2 pegs will be difficult to reproduce with the same clutch power they normally have, but I have been getting better at casting them correctly. If that issue arises, the resin is flexible enough that you should be able to gently bend the pegs in slightly inward to make them stay on the head better. Transparent color masks tend to not have this problem.

I still have yet to experiment more with modifying the cured resin with warm water and other things - perhaps once I come across some methods, I can solve the issues the pegs occasionally have before the part ever reaches the customer.

Not sure where to bring this to your attention, but...I'm curious how the wiki declared Sam dead. People seem to be confusing Merlin's bloodline with the Order of the Witwiccans, since Viviane and Edmund are the last members of each. The Witwiccans is just a society of people who've encountered Transformers, of which Archibald was a member, NOT Sam. It just so happened to come back and haunt his great-great-grandson, and we see that in a similar vein with Vivian and her ancestors.

Yup, that’s a goof on an editor’s part that we’ve corrected now. Seems to be quite a common conflation going around. That said, Burton sure seems to be the last Witwiccan, so it doesn’t seem to bode well for Sam all the same...!
