For the TransFusion AU, imagining the initial conversation between bot and human regarding Transfusion is so funny to me. Like, "Hello Human, would you also like to be a big powerful robot? Cool. Im going to shove you into my chest, then we'll be fused, okay? I need to go beat up some other aliens ...wait what the frag is Pacific Rim?" (Or Steven Universe)

Also, does that shit hurt the human??? Or does it depend on the pair? I have many questions

A lot of partners have different bonds, but the human mind needs a safe space to retain its identity while fused with their partner- otherwise they’ll just burst like a balloon. So most of the humans have *some* kind of space they occupy and function very similarly to Jarvis. (We referenced the Halloween Special 2015 in regards to how transfused communication/self visualization would work between partners)

It's different between each partner and varies in realization based on the strength of the emotional/physical/spiritual bond. For example, some partners can't stay fused for long because they're just not on the same wavelength, while others can fused for a long time. Some can hurt under the wrong circumstances, and others can be extremely pleasurable.

I'm really excited to get into the particulars of this, as we've got gears rolling on how a lot of it works.

I might be looking too deep into this but, could the reason why transfusion exist is because humans technically come from Unicron? In the prime continuity both Primus and Unicron are brothers that used to be one entity. (they don't mentioned in the show, it's in the prime novels) So would it be like finding your other half and filling in the missing pieces of each other? Again, I might be reaching here. Anyway love your transfusion au!

What are the Autobots doing, during the Transfusion AU?

I have art upcoming for this- but the Autobots were actually the first to transfuse!

During a routine checkup, Miko was absolutely dumb enough to touch Bulkhead's spark when Ratchet turned his back for "one glitching astro-second!!" and thus, the first Transfusion was born.

After Bulkhead, Arcee and Jack were the second to try and Bumblebee and Raf, third. They'd been friends long enough and fusion went fairly smooth for all of them.

After a few sessions of being absolutely clapped by Autobots, the Decepticons very grudgingly started their own search for compatible humans, if only to keep up with the autobots.

Thankfully though, there are some critical benefits besides simple power upgrades so it makes the sting of having to combo with humans just a little bit easier.

I can't wait to see Soundwave's partner! Imagine if it were the youngest member, maybe an orphaned child that Soundwave during some mission saved and took in because of his history with the Casseticons that he took care of and lost during the war. It would be so cute to see him having fun with Laserbeak and flying on her back! A little ray of sunshine to light up the darkness of the Decepticons!

A super young member would absolutely be adorable! We've got slightly different plans for Soundwave's partner but the image of a small, cute child is going to stay rent free in my head!

I don’t know if this was already asked but would it be okay to create some of our own fusions based off your au? Like from different continuities? I will give credit if you want!

Hellloooo just wanted to pop in and say that your transfusion AU is fucking great! What a creative way to make the humans and Cybertronians closer and more dependent on one another. I can’t wait to see more (esp Soundwave, he’s my fave. Btw, do you have any plans on how a human bonded to Soundwave affects/effects Laserbeak?)

LMAO thank you! Pls, let our piles grow ever bigger. Actually, I figure most bots can do that with their partners-considering they fuse with them. Originally, that's how Bots actually find their partners (or how we headcanon it on our end). Humans whose EM waves match well with bots are viable partners, though like real relationship, its not enough to just be physically compatible.
