“Boss Battle”
((Ooo, I'm intrigued. Maybe Addy vs Darkwing or Chad? Your pick ^^ ))
Send me “Boss Battle”, and I’ll post the music that plays when your muse fights mine as a boss. / Alternatively, send me “Reverse Boss battle”, and I’ll post the music that plays when my muse fights yours as a boss. / @fusionfall-adeline
Bruh Darkwing does not wanna fight this sad little girl?? So I had to go with Chad cause he also doesn't wanna fight this sad little girl, but he's much less opposed.
Ok I had to put this all under a cut because the length was making me eewie but!!
Addy fighting Chad (I do not recommend this): Champion by Fall Out Boy
This is kinda the vibes to me, no further explanation vibes only.
Chad fighting Addy: Out for Love from Hazbin Hotel or Nothing Left to Lose from Tangled the Series
Gives off very much 'Addy is done playing nice, Addy wants to go Apeshit' and Chad would know how that feels and would want to bring her back from the edge before she destroyed herself like he did.
Now, admittedly, I did have some Darkwing thoughts regarding that 'Addy Wandavision's St. Canard in her grief' plot discussion.
Addy fighting Darkwing:
Darkwing "fighting" Addy: Life Afraid by Set it Off
((Some angst to pay back for the Angsty Easter <3 ))
((Do you think Baby Ben would ever tattle on Addy to Pappy?))
((Extra sad bit: Addy wouldn't even be really be resentful if he did.))
((She'd be upset, but she'd also understand why he did it))
((Especially when she finds out the evil king is his dad </3 ))

Ohhh…. I’ve been worried about that too haha,,
And he’s worried about it too! That’s why he wants her to lay low so badly— if his pap doesn’t even know she exists everything will be fine! Omitting information is not lying! So long as his dad doesn’t get angry at him he’ll be fine.
But. If say, for a possible scenario… pappy finds the gifts or candy she’s giving him… or worse, he catches him eating it? And he asks where he got it from? Raises his voice, shakes the ground? Maybe they’re hanging out and she suddenly hears an earth shattering voice call his name in a furious tone. He’ll tell her to run! Run and hide! Try to get away!
Because he knows if his father demands an answer… he’s going to get it. He’s going to tell him everything. Its a fear so severe its not even conscious self preservation really, its just a fear response, it'll just come pouring out of him in a panic. He'll feel awful after, though, of course. He might even try to plead that he leave her alone, for what little its worth. Especially if it causes her any harm or she ends up having to work in the factory with him, any consequence at all. Or worst case scenario-- pappy decides to abuse or take her power in some way. Who knows what pappy would do if he caught her,,
But he'd tell her he understands if she doesn't want to be his friend anymore. Maybe she shouldn't want to be, she should just stay as far away from this family as possible... He wishes he could get away from himself. ]]
((Ace won the name wheel! So here's something for Ace!))
Addy trembled slightly as she looked up at the pack of teenagers.
These guys were way scary. Don't get her wrong, all teenagers were intimidating to her. Even Lee was a little scary at first when they first met, just because of the size and age difference.
But these guys...they were way scarier than any teen she'd ever seen.
They looked like they were perpetually sick. Their skin was an unnatural shade of green. At a glance, you might even mistake them for fusions.
One of them didn't even look okay. His eyes were hanging out of their sockets, and his tongue just hung out of his mouth like he physically couldn't keep it in.
Were they just like that? They all seemed very casual about it, so...she expected so.
Well...Dad always said not to judge people based on their appearances. People can't help how they look, and it's rude to make comments on it.
Just...treat them like you would any other person!
...And that is with some mild fear because they are older than her-
"Um...H-Hello? I'm...A...A-Addy. The...h-hero. And I uh...I-I stopped by just to see if you needed any h-help."
✦ ☾ ♠️ ☽ ✦ → Whazzat? Did anybody just hear a mouse?
The tall and lanky young man was looking only all the more unfriendly in his stage get-up leather jacket and standing in a huddle with his crew beside some kind of black van as they chatter on about something. But, he slowly catches on to the source of the sound being somewhere around his knees and thinks to look over his shoulder and then crane his long neck down. He tilts his shades at the intrusion. A motion that reveals for a glimpse just how bloodshot with bright red veins his eyes really are. But he only grins with all his sharp, pointy teeth.
" Well, well, well... look who it is, boys! " The acknowledgement makes the whole gang turn to her and loom from behind the leader's sharp shoulders, as he seems to eye the kid up. She looks a lot more... ordinary than the kind of baby heroes he's used to. No giant doll eyes. Kinda seems like a pushover but-- he's learned not to judge a book by its cover a few broken teeth ago. " If it ain't big baddy Addy..! Little miss saves dah world herself, huh? In the flesh? " Something about his tone feels like he's making fun of how her not very intimidating demeanor doesn't quite match her reputation, but it's all in good fun. Probably. " Yeah-- we've heard of ya. You're the one mowin' down alien ass like grass, right? Nice, nice... Name's Ace. " He even goes so far as to offer down low for her his green rusted hand to high-five and then fist-bump. If she knew that gesture well enough to do it at a glance, that is.
" This is Snake, Billy, Arturo, and that's Grubber. But, for dah record-- we ain't runnin' with dah green guys attackin' dah city, we swear. No matter what nobody says! We're just in a band. The Gangreens! " He makes a flat palm gesture of innocence before tossing a thumb over his shoulder at the logo on the car. Then, he seems to share a glance with his gang for a sec as he swipes a finger and thumb beneath his very pointed nose.
" And uh... n'fact... since ya offered eh... we could really use ya help, actually, yeah. " He says, like he only just now thought of something.
Then he seems to practically pout as he shrugs, speaking in a weary sigh.
" See... It ain't easy bein' green these days, little hero... " And-- you know-- having the well earned reputation of being massive criminal hooligans. And currently, still committing crimes sometimes. But the kid doesn't need to know that...
((I heard Father needed someone to tell him he's not a failure, so here's Addy with a pep talk. Does it work? Who knows djdjdjd))
"I think...you're really g-good...er, well, I-I mean bad. No, I mean, good AT being bad." Oh no, not a very good start-
"...For what its worth...I t-think you're a good villain, is what I'm trying to say. You have all this money. Money means you did really g-good in life. You have a nice house. And...and everyone always tells me that you're the greatest threat there is. That they don't so much as beat you, they have to s-survive you. Even the adults talk about you."
A part of her wants to hug him and tell him that its okay...but she knows what will probably happen if she tries that.
"...I just don't understand why you're so hard on yourself Father...you've done enough....you're enough."
She didn't really agree with being a villain or hurting others...but she knew how it felt to feel like you aren't enough or that you haven't done enough. It wasn't a pleasant feeling, so if she could help pull Father out of that rut, she would.
✦ ☾ 🔥 ☽ ✦ → Doubts creeping in. Burning at both ends. Burnt out. Too many thoughts left un-dealt with, piling up like chores. And at his lowest, always when he's lowest, he hears that man's voice again, replacing his own, vivid in his ear:
Can't you do ANYTHING right?
He flinches at thin air. To think, Fuse would rather fixate on the playtime castle of children than even consider him someone of importance. As if he isn't even a threat. Is it madness to say that petty slight stuck in his mind like a thorn, all this time? Of course it is, but that thorn managed to get jammed in a very old wound.
Look at him. Equal footing with a monkey. He's always been the weakest link in the family chain, the last Uno shadow bearer, and now he's the Uno that let the world be conquered by some greater evil all because he was too WEAK to take the throne! If Grandfather was here every child would be a perfect soldier, every adult a vicious hive mind, Fuse would bend and break in minutes, pureed into sprinkles for his tapioca!
So why can't Ben? What's WRONG with Ben? Why can't he JUST do wrong right?
For ONCE in his worthless life! You say all kinds of awful things when you're angry.
Especially to yourself.
....... Has he been ranting to a child for the last 2 minutes? Oh. Oh they are not supposed to ever see him this way. What are they going to--
" ... Huh? " He's stunned in confusion at those first words, being not at all what he expected. Now all he can do is listen, hunched depressed in some big red swivel chair in front of a dozen monitors, the hollow windows of his eyes inverting into down slanted crescents. His gaze flicks up and around at the ridiculously massive, excessively ornate, defensively armored, self engineered, currently propped up on giant spider legs mansion he owns that he's agreed she's allowed to come meet him in. He's richer than it could ever be reasonable to be, he owns every major manufacturer, multiple towns, he's the leader of the evil adults, children cower at his name, his own inner fire could burn a hole through to the center of the earth— but he needs more power! Always more. That's how it feels, anyways...
" ... The greatest threat? They... really say that about me? " He mutters with uncharacteristic sincerity, as though they finally touched a real, human nerve beneath all those shadows, flattered like it was the sweetest thing she's ever said. Then he sighs, leaning into a hand propped up on his chair's arm.
" Oh, kids like you... you're just saying that because you're nice... "
( Why are you so hard on yourself? You're enough. )
Words that he's never heard in all his life. Not from anyone. It was enough to almost soften those sharp eyes of flame of his, dimming their glow to nearly going out. And it was coming from a child, of all people... He rubs his face and quickly turns the chair away, where he disappeared to silence for a moment. Then, only his gesturing hand became visible. His voice lacked any crackle nor hiss of hatred. " Its... complicated. Ya know-- sometimes... I think... I've gotten so used to it, I can't get any work done without somebody shouting my ears off... " He bitterly chuckles. He became that somebody, for himself. Not just her, evidently...
A pause as he taps the arm of his chair with one finger and he shrugs his hand.
" But... thanks, anyways, sport... for the little... pep talk. Now... forget everything I just said... I'll think of something. " He reassures, regaining some fire in his grumbling as he taps his fingers in thought, impulsively trying to prevent the girl from carrying any responsibilities that should be his. He's still a dad, after all, and she was still a child.
" I always do. "
It was a slow day. Addy wasn't feeling too well, and unfortunately, that meant Bobby and Catherine had to answer to Father in her stead.
Now Catherine was pretty good at keeping Bobby in check...but when that boy didnt want to be reeled in, he wouldnt be reeled in.
And now was one of those times.
Bobby stared off into the distance, waiting for Catherine to finish turning their materials in.
But as boredom crept in, Bobby became restless. And as restless boys tend to do...
He wanted to start something.
"I heard Toiletnator could probably beat you in a fight."
Catherine snapped her head towards him in an instant.
"Bobby-"
"I'm just sayin! Water beats fire. And Mr.Fireplace over here hates getting wet and hates the cold. What can Toiletnator control? Cold toilet water. I rest my case."
Catherine started to sweat as she glanced between Bobby and Father. Oh goodness gracious, how does Addy handle doing missions with Bobby as a part of her party?
((Too late he pit them against each other-))
✦ ☾ 🔥 ☽ ✦ → One of these days he's simply going to ban him from entering this house unattended, resistance be damned...
In this moment, as of right now, that sudden statement was so silly it was laughable. That was just Lou's reputation amongst the villains, to invoke him as a challenge was a blow so low they might as well have been biting his ankles, it was unserious. So he scoffs in annoyance at first, rolling his head, nothing more.
But they keep talking. As they're aggravatingly prone to do... His blackened finger taps impatiently against his console.
" Little boy... " He eventually sneers, turning to the loud mouthed child and gesturing his pipe out of his sharp teeth. " Toiletnator... knows better than to get a single DROP of his... sewage on my suit... because he KNOWS that simply getting me wet is not enough to KILL me... " He's been drenched in a tidal wave of arctic water before, but he persists and persists. He aims to always be as stubborn and inevitable as his temper. Father looms closer and cranes his gaze down at them, his lantern-like eyes like headlights.
" And what do you think HAPPENS when he fails to kill me, huh..? Water under the bridge? " He forebodes with a slow tilt of his head before biting back down on his pipe and returning to what he was doing.
" Lou's been so well MANNERED lately... always trying not be quite as unwanted as he could be... " Since that little outburst a few years ago. " I would say I don't know why you enjoy the thought of setting him up to suffer so much but-- " He chuckles, darkly.
" ... Actually I kinda do. "
