Thoughts after ep 17

I must say I've never really liked Mitsuru from the very start, but I've hope for him to change and become better. He has been a jerk since when he appeared in the first ep when he treated Ikuno like trash( I must say I'm not surprise of her decision to ride with Ichigo, who,in my opinion, Ikuno considered as a friend/ally that will never humiliate the way he DID with her)Come on you fool you don't even know who she is and you just decided that she's not good enough for you and wanted to switch with a new partner WITHOUT EVEN KNOW HER A LITTLE AT LEAST, WHAT THE HELL, WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM MAN? WHAT DOES IKUNO HAVE THAT DOESN'T APPEAL TO YOU? If I was in Ikuno's shoes I would have punch him in the guts, or else where ( so he couldn't have his kids). Maybe it's not Ikuno the problem but Misturu himself because when Ikuno was Futoshi's partner her real potential came into light even for few seconds, does this mean that Futoshi is a better rider/pilot/mate than Misturu?

And another thing why between the two of them Ikuno is the ONLY ONE to know everything about Mitsuru's "troubled"past with Hiro and his sickness?? And why, on the contrary, he ,just like the others,doesn't know anything about her?? How can we talk about or giving hints of her personality ( and of her sexual orientation) if nothing of her has been told or shown in the serie?

I don't believe that Kokoro and Mitsuru are really in love. Everything about their relationship seems very confusing and a little too rushed. In my opinion she switched partner because Futoshi has idolized and loved her so much at the point that he would have never layed a finger on her, meaning he would have never made love with her to preserve her purity. Something that Kokoro couldn't simply accept. Her prior goal is to have a baby, in this case not born from love, but only to leave a proof of her existence, (like she has stated). So basically she's a selfish girl who's treating Mitsuru like a puppet, which makes him look like a wimp to me. Besides Misturu doesn't seem involved too much in his relationship with Kokoro as demonstrated when talking with Hiro where he stated he doesn't know what's going on in Kokoro's mind meaning he lacks of comunication with her mate and not taking her side defending her when she was confronted by Nine Alfa, Ikuno did it instead. What kind of man does not defend his girl! If Futoshi was in his place he would have.

Misturo on the other hand was coerced by Hiro's words. I mean how could he possibly know what love is??? He's starting to experience it with Zero Two but they are still very far from knowing what true love is.

I hope that at some point IKUNO and Futoshi leave squad 13 and live happily ever after.
