Future Developer P.L. and Cameron Cundiff
Something a bit different:
Future developer P.L. is writing HTML and using GitHub at 9 years old. Also, he uses a screen reader. Keep it accessible, people! #a11y pic.twitter.com/7zM5kMMGc2

Last week, Cameron tweeted about working with P.L. and my heart grew three sizes. Spending time with the developers of the future, even for 30 minutes, can make a giant impact on their lives. Imagine if more kids learned about accessibility in school–how might that change the web of tomorrow?
I wanted to enshrine Cameron and P.L.'s amazing Twitter moment as a reminder of the importance of sharing what you know. While we're usually heads-down thinking about design and code–mostly for adults–we should also find time in our busy schedules to give back to the growing generation. They might be the ones to make the web more accessible for us some day.
