When Mr Krupp dies of old age, George and Harold would sing No One Mourns The Wicked just like Ding Dong The Witch is Dead until they realize that Captain Underpants died with him. Not to mention, he had a sad, pathetic life with nothing to his name (not his hypnotized name, his real name) but a failure of a school principal. In which case, it becomes just like how Glinda was singing it, secretly going against the theme of the song in the first place

I’m sure someone’s already pointed this out, but I’m gonna mention it here.

In the season finale of TETOCU, there’s this random dude that showed up twice in the episode.

This mysterious, rather oddly-dressed man that lives across the street from Mr. Krupp. (Seriously, who wears a safari hat and sunglasses with a frilly bathrobe and pink slippers?)

When we first see him, he doesn’t even seem phased at seeing Captain Underpants. And George and Harold point out how weird it is that this guy is mowing his lawn in the middle of the night.

And he’s STILL doing it when it’s near sunrise!

Also, even though he’s wearing sunglasses, it doesn’t cover fact that he has a scar over his eye.

And what’s one of the scenarios in cartoons where scars are most common?

Post-apocalyptic futures.

Like say, a future where a certain cyborg nerd could be in control?

So... what if Future!Melvin wasn’t the only one who came back in time?

What if this strange man is none other than Future!George?

We’ll just have to wait until Season 2 to find out.

Headcanon that if Old George and Old Harold make Captain Underpants comics in the future, they would make two things

Captain Underpants would have the secret identity of a kind, loving elementary school principal

They would have self inserts that are not only students, not only are they his (way more capable intelligence wise) sidekicks and the only ones to know his identity but are his adoptive sons Robin style

Wonder were they got those ideas?

You ever think about how not only did yesterday George and yesterday Harold have to find out on their own that Captain Underpants was erased from Mr Krupp, not only is CU implied to be created as a father figure after his dad left but since the Hypno ring was discontinued in book 3, they can’t bring him back until they meet him again in twenty years where HE DIED?!
