Ran my fastest mile since the surgery
Nothing impressive but 13:50 is a hell of a lot faster than I thought I could do. Needless to say, my knee is exhausted now

I have discovered the stationary bike
I've always loved biking but never thought I'd like a stationary bike. I sprained my big toe a week or so ago, so I figured I wouldn't over work it in fear of an injury. I turned to the bike because the pedals didn't put pressure on my toe. Needless to say... I think I'm in love. My butt hurts like crazy but I've begun to pick up speed. 12/6- 24:02- 4.62 miles 12/7- 23:47- 5.68 miles 12/8(today)- 24:02- 6.48 miles Not sure why I'm doing 24 minutes but sure whatever. Today I averaged just over 16mph, which I guess is considered pretty vigorous biking according to MyFitnessPal app haha. I literally just need to lose an inch on my hips and nothing I do seems to help. Anywhere have any more ideas???
My dad and I on going to talk to my recruiter. :D
Mom: She would really like you to go with her.
Dad: Okay give me the address and I'll go. Get all the answers you need.
Mom: GET THE EXPERIENCE OF GOING STEVE.
Me: Dad I am going in whether we all agree with it or not.
Dad: They only have recruiters for those coming straight out of high school.
Me: Nope they have Officer Recruiters, there is one done in San Diego.
Dad: Okay get the address, and we'll go on Sunday.
Me: -_- They are closed on weekends and by 5 you know this.
Dad: If I had stayed think they would've made me a recruiter?
Me: Nope you aren't Motarded enough.
It's a bad idea to mention you want to join the Navy with 7 Marines in your class.
My Teacher: What do you plan on doing with that Political Science Degree?
Me: Ummm Commissioned Officer for the Navy/JAG.
Marine in my class: -scoff-
My Teacher: I am sure you will do great.
Me: Anyone that thinks otherwise just motivates me....
