anyways here's some fanart for a fic my friend wrote a good while ago lol. it's short but very very good pls read it, it's "a fever i am learning to live with" by ThatWeirdGuyInTheBushes on ao3 (:

1. Future Pinky uses a spare portal gun and comes to the prehistoric time period where Future Brain is. Upon seeing each other again, they sob and hug cause they missed each other so much and just want nothing more in the world than to reconcile and make changes to their relationship. 

2. Future Brain introduces Pinky and Blinky to each other and they become friends too. 

3. Pinky: You kept the cape? 

Brain: It’s a good insulator at night. And you put so much effort into it...I couldn’t just throw it away. 

4. Since part of their rift was caused by Brain not taking care of himself in the pursuit of world domination and Pinky worrying over him, Brain tries to do better, especially with making sure his scar doesn’t get inflamed. His official excuse is ‘I’m just trying to make this scar look cool instead of ridiculous’.

5. Pinky looks at Brain’s arm and cries sometimes, because it was a moment of inattention from him that cost Brain his arm and resulted in Brain believing that Pinky intentionally meant to betray and hurt him. As Brain spent more time with Blinky, he realized how wrong that assumption was. He finds that his counterpart was right about Pinky not having the capacity for evil, and regrets that line of thinking so much.
