Having bought out the privatized contract for law enforcement throughout all of Chicago; they have kept the peace within the city. Well, for the most part. The Mavericks, a group that has seen PRIME's methods and control have begun to rebel against the organization. THREE  HUNDRED  AND  EIGHTY-FOUR  YEARS  after  the  world  was  decimated  by  nuclear  war,  the  last  survivors  of  humanity  live  on  across  various  parts  of  the  world.  various  factions  of  survivors  live  on  all  across  what  was  once  the  united  states,   particularly  the  new  world  clan,  the  children  of  the  oracle,  the  sun  sinners  and  the  ice  nation.

however,  the  factions  within  what  was  once  the  united  states  are  not  alone:  they  share  their  land  with  mysterious  metal  creatures  whose  origins  are  unknown.  on  top  of  rival  wars  and  mysterious  newcomers,  humanity's  last  survivors  have  to  fight  a  daily  battle  just  to  stay  alive…  but  shouldn't  life  be  about  more  than  just  surviving?
