In the last poll, I asked people what their primary motivator was, and a lot of people answered 'Unknown', which is a perfectly good answer, especially if you're young, and you haven't figured it out yet. There's a lot of fears in developing a goal because what if you don't have what it takes to reach it, or you're unable to move towards it? It's a scary thought to decide on a goal and then find it impossible.
In abuse we're often told we cannot reach any possibly goal, and any idea of happiness is stupid to even consider, even the most undemanding, common and achievable ones are put our of reach and into the area of impossible. So, I'm going to list some scenarios that fall into the area of possibilities, and I want you to think about whether any of these would make you happy:

Absolute freedom, going anywhere you want anytime, no restraints on your actions
Having a group of close friends you live close to, or with, regularly having fun
Living in a new place where nobody knows or hates you, free and financially safe
Having all of your skills, talents and hard work recognized, reaching success
Living on a farm/homestead, surrounded with animals, trees and food you produce
Creating without limits, weather its art, writing, projects or crafts
Having a family on your own, where every member is safe and beloved.
Reaching social popularity, always being surrounded with friends and loved ones
Being well respected and valued in society for the work you do, generally loved
Life of adventure, trying everything, participating in events and culture
A quiet life alone, fulfilled with beauty, serenity, nature and peace of mind
All of the injustice against you is overturned, whoever hurt you is punished.
You can vote even if you didn't vote 'unknown' in the last poll! If more than one appeal to you, pick your favourite. It's okay if the scenario feels too fictional, unachievable or unreachable, just pick whatever you hypothetically feel would make you happy.

A concept: Someone puts a hit out on Captain Marvel, not like there's a shortage of people she could piss off in the galaxy.
Yon takes the job...but only so he could find out who wants her dead/details and warn her. People don't question it because they assume he hates her since in everyone's eyes she ruined his life. He brought her in so taking her out is his responsibility and all that.
Carol gets wind of it, and assumes Yon really wants her dead. She's not scared but out of everyone he's probably the only one who could get close enough to actually do it. She attacks him when she sees him and doesn't want to hear him out. During their scuffle she gets distracted and misses how he pulls out a knife and throws it seemingly straight at her....only to hit an actual assassin that crept behind her during the commotion square in the heart.
While she stares in shock because a second ago she thought she might die, Yon reaches out to help her up:
-- Dare I hope you'll actually listen to me this time?
--There's a first time for everything.
Sometime in the future after they overthrow the Kree Empire, Yon finds himself with a lot of free time on his hands, and that's when reading fiction becomes one of his favourite pastimes, as the Kree only encouraged reading for learning purposes - leisure was always seen as a waste of time when you could be practicing a valuable skill or mastering a new one - it took Yon a while to accept that he can just relax and enjoy himself without constantly being useful and productive. Carol was never a big reader (more of a 'ill wait for the movie adaptation' person) but she loves falling asleep curled into his side while he reads, sometimes aloud, the sound of his voice soothing and deep.
Yon doesn't understand the concept of Valentine's Day because why should I confine my love for you to one calendar day a year and I don't need a special occasion to express my undying love for you and Carol chuckles and calls him a sap because it is a stupid holiday but she's happy to be spending it with him and all the other days ❤️
P.S. Yon gifts her the biggest teddy bear in the galaxy and Carol gets him an otter onesie and underwear with hearts on it because she wanted new gift-wrapping to rip off of him ;)
