Games
So I love video games alright? I do enjoy them a lot more than I probably should. Needless to say, I am very excited for what some games have to offer the world like, Black Ops 4 (Used to be really into Call of Duty, but sorta drifted away from it), it actually looks semi-decent.
I already have a copy of Forza Horizon 4 which was another major game I was looking forward to and now, with the purchase of a Nintendo Switch and being able to play it a few weeks ago at Comic Con in Sydney, I will definitely be looking forward to Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, with the inclusion of all the characters that have been in any of the previous Smash games as well as new ones too to keep the game fresh (Ridley, King K. Rool, Simon Belmont, etc) it should be a very good game.
Furthermore other games I’m hoping to get are along the lines of Cyberpunk 2077, Doom: Eternal, Anthem (Although this one is an EA title so I might keep my distance for a bit)
But what games will I be staying away from? Well currently there’s only two I have no interest in and they are: Battlefield 5 (Too politically correct for my taste, if you wanna make a World War 2 game, try and stick to as much historical accuracy as you can, DICE already demonstrated they could do this with Battlefield 1 but BF 5? It looks like everything that they did right with the previous Battlefield game has just been tossed out the window) and the new Pokemon games, it’s returning to Kanto for the 5th time (Including the Gen 1 and Gen 2 remakes) and yeah, I get that Kanto is the 1st region and that means it’s the most important but what about Gen 4? That should’ve gotten the remake coming this year rather than these, also the two new Pokemon games have in my opinion, a very gimmicky feel to them as well as the fact that it doesn’t necessarily feel like a proper Pokemon game, SM (Sun and Moon) and USUM (Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon) still felt like proper Pokemon games to me even though they had some major overhauls in the way that the games played out. Let’s go Eevee and Let’s go Pikachu however, don’t exactly look or feel like proper Pokemon games, more sort of like how Pokemon GO is, except now it’s on a Console.
So there you have it, how I feel about upcoming video games, remember this is just my own opinion and I’m allowed to have it, you can have a different opinion about games you’re excited for and you might disagree with me and that’s alright, everybody can has their own opinion and are entitled to it.
