Games I’m Currently Playing

Here’s my current gaming rotation.

PS5:

Baldur’s Gate: 2nd/3rd/4th/5th playthrough simultaneously, playing as a Rogue (Assassin) Duergar Dwarf (Act I) and a Wood Elf Duid (Act III) alone, a Drow Bard with a friend (Act II), and a High Elf Wizard with a full party of friends (Act II). Why? Because why not?

Fortnite: Usually Duos with a friend on Zero Build or Blitz.

Dragon Age: Inquisition: JUST re-downloaded and started a new playthrough for purely nostalgic reasons. The dialogue and character writing are unmatched, and I missed my boo Cullen (and the war table mechanics). I also think it’s BS what they did to Southern Ferelden in Veilgaurd. Anyways, moving on.

Cyberpunk 2077: Love this game downnnn. I always hated first-person shooters until this game. Doing a playthrough as Corpo V (my favorite backstory), and I just started The Hunt quest with River (my usual cyber bf).

PC:

The Sims 4: Hate to love this game. But mods make it bearable. I could get into the intricacies of my 20+ families and worlds, but that would take too long. Currently running a bookish cafe and bakery in Tartosa with my French sim Esme, who is engaged to her girlfriend from Mt. Komorebi. Next play will probably be their very glitchy wedding. Send your prayers!

Tiny Bookshop: The cozy game of my dreams. Just started my first winter and visited Hilda in the hospital. Such adorable and personable writing.

Chef RPG: A new favorite from last year’s releases. I’ve already put in 232 hours into this game. I neeed to play the new update with all the festivals added.

Switch:

Discounty: Very unique little game. I’m still in the beginning of this game, but I played for 12 hours straight the other day. Very addicting workaholic-esque game loop that keeps calling me back.

That’s it for now lol. I have many, many more that I like to continue to dabble in, but these are my main ones currently. Soon (October maybe?), I’m thinking I will plan out and begin my fall-themed gaming. I’ve been dying to open up Hogwarts Legacy and Fields of Mistria again, but soon!

I sincerely apologise if I’m dragging anything up, and please don’t answer if you don’t feel comfortable to!

But there are so many IF’s being discussed on this blog that I’m confused about which ones you are still working on/apart of (besides Mind Games anyway).

On another note, I absolutely adore MG: T so far, I’m so intrigued by everything and I look forward to learning more (I’ve stopped myself from reading anything to do with MG: O for now lol)!

It's okay!! It's definitely been confusing these last few months, but here are my stories that are still being worked on: Main Project(s):

Mind Games series, currently on Mind Games: Trepidation (Previously Obsession)

Side Projects:

Feral Hearts (Needs better planning, better storyline, and rewriting) What Comes After series (Needs to be updated and switched to Twine, needs to be replanned and plotted, will be having changes made during Twine switchover.) The Iterrian Tribulations series (Needs switchover to Twine, needs to be replanned and plotted out, needs updating.)

The Chronicles of Rebirth series (Needs... a lot of work and is no where near the top of the pile to be done.)

Rewind (my first project that has been scrapped for right now, may be re-imagined in the future.)

Good day my dear Inter People 😊 and how are we this morning. I hope you have your coffee in one hand, a muffin in the other and instead of heading to your car you're heading to your bed. I'm sorry I know that's all of our dreams right now though lol. Anyway, I do hope you have a good day, thus I the meantime here are my thoughts on last week's questions...

Since there was a Game Speak theme last week I can put all my answers together, so here goes. First I asked about favorite game characters from across the border. I know it depends on the game and even your style of game play. I love Katakana and Syndel from Mortal Kombat, I love Master Chief from Halo, etc. Basically I love playing a games female characters if their a bad ass as well as strong leader type male characters.

Next I asked about Bungi moving away from Activision. Now I've played Destiny yet have yet to play Destiny 2 but have of course heard of the games issues. I do think that it's good the companies parted, now Bungi can evidently make revisions for the fans as well as themselves to correct any issues. They can also move forward making games their way as opposed to having another company tell them what to do.

Lastly I asked about the most recent Tomb Raider games and how there isn't much tomb raiding in them. Folks are saying they've become more of a history lesson than a game. I personally don't mind the idea of learning a little something as you play any game. But if the goal is an action adventure type of game then I can see where to much learning when you just want to blunder this can get in the way of the fun.

What Am I Currently Playing/Running?

It’s been a bit since I’ve updated ya’ll on my current games, so here goes: On Sunday Nights I’m currently running a Pathfinder 2e game. We’re just about to finish up book 2 of the Abomination Vaults. The party is currently exploring the Devil Level and finding out about the holding cells, wondering why they were put there in the first place! Also, they’re fighting hella devils. I feel no deals will be struck purely out of spite. I’m looking to run my last few playtests for an upcoming project on Monday Night. I’m real excited about everything I’ve written so far, and playtests let me make silly little dungeons. I’m getting started with the Skulls and Shackles set for the Pathfinder Card Game on Tuesday nights. Probably gonna be biweekly. On Saturdays I’m currently playing in a Spaceships and Starwyrms playtest. I’m not gonna spoil the adventure at all (but I’ll say it’s really cool!) I’m playing an Ix private investigator named Bugsy Marlowe. He’s got a heap of gambling debt, a love of domosian films, and a Dog AI sidekick named Sp00fy-2. He’s a mess. Once the Starwyrms test wraps I think I’m gonna get a group together to play some Descent: Legends of the Dark! Got the set for a good price and I’m pumped to play through it!
