Holly looked up from her computer, swiveling in her chair to look at Violet. She raised an eyebrow and shook her head. “I knew it. I knew it! You were going on some sort of secret FBI thing today and you wouldn’t tell me about it!”
With a huff she quickly ran to get the first aid kid, opening it up. Thank God she’d learned how to do all this shit in high school. And at least now the monsters her best friend was facing weren’t going to eat her alive. Now they were just likely to stab her in the stomach.
“I can’t remember the last time you lied to me. Or I lied to you. Maybe it had something to do with Norman?” She teased as she grabbed the bandaids. “Want to crash here tonight? I can put on some really bad cable TV and we can pretend we’re in high school again. A normal high school anyway.”
