The University of Minnesota’s TCF Bank Stadium is one of the newest stadiums in the country! Many U of M students enjoy catching a concert, marching band event, outdoor hockey series, or football game at "The Bank". The Rolling Stones, Luke Bryan, One Direction, and Imagine Dragons have all recently performed at the Stadium. The Minnesota Vikings will also play their upcoming season at The Bank during the construction of their new U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis! Spotlight-Minnesota Quidditch
How can you find time to join activities that keep your mind healthy as well as those that keep your body active? Combine the two by joining a unique club that allows you to exercise both - Minnesota Quidditch!
What type of group is this? This group brings Harry Potter fans and athletes together and provides students with a healthy, active, and creative way to get involved on campus. This group combines the friendly competition of recreational sports with the whimsy of all things Harry Potter. Minnesota Quidditch competes at the intramural level and players may participate in both fall and spring seasons.
Special Events MN Quidditch participates in a Halloween tournament at the end of the fall season as well a Spring tournament at the end of the spring season. Players also have the opportunity to participate in larger scale matches at the USQ, regional tournaments, and the Quidditch World Cup. Each year, a formal Yule Ball dance is held for students and guests from around the Twin Cities.
