☹ My character is visiting your character on their death bed
Stubborn old Edgeworth had only just considered the possibility that he was, in fact, dying. He’d lived a long life, fulfilling in it’s own way; he should have no regrets, yet he felt as if there was so much more to do. As if he couldn’t just… leave, with even the smallest detail unfinished.
This resolve manifested in his laptop, an old thing by now and one of many replacements considering. He had to pause in-between typing, lying back on the hospital bed and huffing at his own weakness. The last thing he expected, however, was a visitor that wasn’t his worried partner.
The former Chief Prosecutor manages to face the monochrome man, not even questioning Simon’s tastes anymore. He could get the job done, and that was more important… so why waste time visiting a dying old fool?
"… Blackquill." To his own dismay, Miles finds that he lacks the strength to say much at a time. Aging is an annoying process.
