The Future of Bookmark
If I had more time for Bookmark to complete the project entirely, I would have worked on designing the rest of the Achievement Award illustrations. As I only got to show one in the final prototype due to time constraints with the deadline brought forward three weeks.
I would also add further gamification elements to the app, so say on World Book Day I could have a unique challenge available for app users there they all have to set a minimum reading goal of 30 minutes to complete that day. They’d receive an extra award for doing so.
Another idea I was planning to carry out was giving a summary each month of how much they have read etc. Could be via email or a push notification. I get this every Monday from my watch telling me you did not meet your move goal every day and what it works out to be an achievable goal. You could consider this around helping motivate users but not setting goals they cannot meet.
