So many of them! Listeners, I'm still sort of amazed. They can't possibly have recognized me, right? I mean, I'm something of a local celebrity, but that's only in Night Vale, and mostly only by voice. These people are not from Night Vale. If they were, I would surely have recognized them. Which isn't to say that I know everyone, just... Well, you know what I mean, right?

So I smile, and wave a little, and say, "Can I help you? Have we met? Is there something you need to tell me?" because I can never be sure, I mean, any one of these people could easily be one of those weird, semi-sentient sort of child things that the City Council sends out with a message sometimes. They don't look like they are, but that doesn't guarantee anything!

This was good.

Though strange to the touch, it felt clean and durable.  It wasn’t the easiest for allowing movement, but that had never bothered him before.  It looked good, too.  He suddenly didn’t feel like switching back to his own clothes.
