Fri - Splash Star - EP 44 - 46
I'd say at a guess, the second round matches will wrap up in this set, hoping to learn abit more about Michiru and Kaoru. You can't go and make them all mysterious at this stage and not do anything about it.
EP 44
During the run of Splash Star, Minori has acquired three extra older sisters.
Quite liking Mai's outfit in this one and it's nice to see Saki not decked out in something pink, even Michiru and Kaoru got a change of clothes.
Ooh, Fillia dropping the potential consequences on the viewer like a ton of bricks. Brutal.
They could be a team but at the time, don't feel like they could either, its a hard to put your finger on dynamic because Mai and Saki and really more glorified bodyguards to Michiru and Kaoru, despite the pair being quite capable themselves.
Ms Shitataare's laugh though is so iconic at this point, kudos to the VA.
I swear, it's like everyone but Michiru and Kaoru themselves were aware of this little nugget. However, keyword here is MIGHT, none have said it was a guarantee, so there's still hope (when the Precure remember that's a thing they are suppose to cover?)
There's no need to say a thing at this point, it's just evidently a guaranteed bingo card spot.
Question, the pair didn't return to the fountain when they had their first run at school, it was the whole angle with Goyaan about returning to their post, so why were the pair already in school uniforms in the flashback?
Ms Shitataare is such an eccentric but can back it up to in battle, a good combination! Splash Star's villain roster really hasn't been that bad.
There it is, Michiru and Kaoru reminding the Precure to keep the faith and the courage to challenge destiny because you never know, they may just be able to change it.
EP 45
When you watch it one week at a time, I suppose it isn't as bad because then you have a week or two off due to break depending how the week falls but when you watch them in bundles like this >.< Christmas in the finale is such a spanner in the works.
Coming up with excuses, still not a skill they possess.
I know it's an island but it is a big island but the amount of people they get at PPP, you'd think it was the only one there.
The difference between Flappy and Mepple, this feels more like sibling tease, Mepple tends to come across spiteful because his intention is to get a reaction out of Nagisa. (Also Moop and Fuup getting in on it but not sure if theirs is just a case of innocently being unware on this occasion?)
Pity there wasn't more of this crossing dynamics in the show, it gives the Dark Fall faction on a whole more personality, an identity with out losing out in screen time to just delve into like some kind of B plot; it really does helps them stand out among Precure villains in general. It's also nice to have villain groups not thinking about how to stab each other in the back but are just competitive frival like and all still working towards the same goal.
It isn't like he has anything better to do.
I don't know why Saki is moping around for, if you were going to go all out and make a cake for someone, it may have been a good idea to perhaps phone and see what was going on with them first, even indirectly, not make the cake and then ask on the day.
(ᗒᗜᗕ)՛̵̖ Egads, Fuup with the most brutal savagery that even Dark Fall would be jealous of the damage.
and Santaare, it doesn't take a lot but it is appreciated all the same. ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜
Side by side like that, being mistaken for a couple doesn't seem so farfetched but does no one question why the guy is yellow? Do they not see it? "I don't want to deal with you today" - another awkward Nagisa moment but as per your Precure contract, they is not a privilege you get to have.
It's just verbal brutality from all sides in this ep.
And just when you thought they were going to give Egret a moment to shine, it turns into a complete dud and that once more, she can't do anything on her own with out Bloom.
( ˶°ㅁ°) !! How many twists can you fit into thirty seconds! It was fast and a bit out of no where but I don't disapprove. ♡ (The fact it was the heart and not the star finisher was fitting, some one actually took a moment to think this through and there I was just being happy to see Bloom and Egret forms again). Also both being defeated in the same ep, suppose it hits the proposal home better.
And no prizes for suspecting, yet another misunderstanding, Kazuya was just with a class mate collecting a pre-order for their class party. Ironically though, the Kazuya/Saki angle I can't get behind, feels rather awkward and very much the school girl crush as they learn the difference between these feelings. That and Kazuya does treat her like a little sister it feels.
EP 46
I was not expecting Akudaikaan here, so there's clearly more twists to come.
Where have Michiru and Kaoru being staying? It's the middle of winter, they can't still be living outdoors? You only ever saw them at that rock formation before??? Heck, where did they list as an address to attend school or just more than likely faked all that to and made people think the paperwork was there?
The cats a tell-tale! (More than likely) (ᗒᗜᗕ)՛̵̖ I can't with that voice, it's suppose to be a serious moment but as awesome as Korone's inputs are, they're so darn distracting.
Ooh, playing the Minori card only for Saki to Uno reverse it back on Kaoru.
The more this goes on, the more this feels like Ren's fight against his uncle from Shaman King. This guy is going to be a fake, a puppet to what one can only assume is Gohyaan at this point considering he's the only one still standing. The question then would be why?
Akudaikaan, having a, does not compute moment just levels the area. That purple flame still stands though, every time something happens in Dark Fall, there is always emphasis on that flame? First you had, if they open their eyes be worried, now we've got, he got out the chair, be worried.
Yes Akudaikaan is doing something but it has been a very simple fight so far, it mainly consists of swatting the Precure away when the attack or putting up a barrier to try and stop his attacks and fail
Don't know why the preview is trying to be suspenseful with that last warrior thing, Gohyaan is very much still alive, he's got to do more than be a PA but in true Toei fashion, they ruined it by having the very last scene be a reveal of what this last warrior looks like -.-'' (If they were doing it back here, they have no chance of ever learning do they...)
Never the less, FINALE WEEK for Wave 2 is next week! It felt like it would never get here at one stage.
