Fuzzbreak - Fire Walk With Us / IZAH split

Thanks to Tank86, whose album RISE is one of my recent favorites, I was able to stumble across label-mates Fire Walk With Us (Rising Magma Records). I absolutely love how social media is making it easier and easier to find bands that don't suck.

Fire Walk With Us fall into the instrumental post-rock/metal vein that I love so very much. On one side, this split offers a plethora of sick riffs surrounded by gentle soundscapes. On the other, IZAH flex their muscles in a display of some very tasteful hardcore-ish post-metal. God I love putting things into categories. 

The split is available for download in pay-what-you-want fashion. If you dig what you're hearing, help these guys out by putting more than 0 into that box.

Fuzzbreak - Black Pyramid - And the Gods Made War/Visions of Gehenna

I caught this gem on random this morning and thought that I should share it with you guys.  Not only is the tune full of sludgy, doomy, fuzzy, goodness; it's catchy as hell and the video is pretty cool too.  

When I heard this song for the first time I immediately went digging around for some more of their work.  I was not disappointed in what I found!  This is what a stellar stoner-doom-metal band sounds like.  They have plenty of riffs, hooks and fuzz to go around.  They rarely drone out and the music and vocals are highly accessible in terms of listen-ability.  

If you like that tune, check this one out too!  In fact, a quick youtube search will yield enough results to whet your appetite! Do it!
