#fuzzy leaves

Anyone have any idea what plant this is??? Its fuzzy and a dark purple on the leaf undersides. Its got some pretty bare stems on it but I'm hoping it just needs some proper care and it'll maybe be bushier??

Found in North Cal Zone 9b if that helps any, it may have been in a greenhouse but i have no idea.

my flame violet died, so i propagated the few remaining leaves into a nursery pot, used a piece of cotton string in the bottom of the nursery pot to create a ‘wick’ to drawl water up from inside the bottom of the red cup, and i hoped for the best… she actually grew! she bloomed!
