Never let anyone tell you that you can't enjoy something you deeply resonate with just because it's popular. They're sick of seeing it? Too bad! They're not having the same human experience as you are. It didn't crit hit them at the specific point in life that it did for you. They're gonna resonate with something else!

This love and passion you have for that media, that character, that dynamic, is genuine. If you tried to take that away from them, on the grounds that you're annoyed of seeing it more than something you think better deserves it, that'd be a jerk move!

Likewise, you are not responsible for their annoyance. You are not responsible for the creations of anyone else. You are one person, experiencing the world in a completely unique way, and digesting those experiences through what you consume and create. If others resonate with the same thing for whatever reasons, and create more because of it, that's them, and that's natural. If others who don't resonate with it are annoyed at the quantity of the art and enjoyment already existing for it, that's also natural, but it's on them to deal with that within themselves. It has nothing to do with you. Do not let anyone stop you from creating!!!!

You do not have to minimize yourself or neuter your own enjoyment to please others. Don't do it!!! It's not worth it, and it straight up doesn't work, either. All you'll accomplish with that is some real narsty burnout. You know this from experience.
