six months into your pregnancy is a bit ridiculous. mostly because niall still treats you as if your two months along and somehow still thinks he can pull into his lap during a round of fifa and curl his arms around your torso, using your large belly as some kind of controller rest. its hilarious more than anything, really, and sometimes his palms dig a little too firmly into your skin but he always kisses your shoulder in apology and hell stop. opting to pause the game and drag you onto the cushions into a warm cuddle that leaves you both drowsy after a few minutes. eight months in leaves you sore, your back aches, your feet hurt and there’s a burn of anger inside of you that hormones are doing nothing to calm you with and the closer your date gets the snippier you are with him. “no, niall, the red bottle— the red one!” and he huffs, tosses the bottle carelessly at you anyway and goes to fetch the right one. when he comes back theres a sour look on his face, one that you know is just for show to irritate you further. it would if you didnt find it so incredibly hilarious with how his brows scrunch and his nostril flare. he silently pulls your feet to his lap and just like that your built up frustration is slowly released. its quit for a moment, until, “you know i spoil ya.”
