On the Streets|| Open

Even though he’d worked the early shift, once the verdict had come in, there had been an all hands on deck call just in case.  And based on what was happening in the city right now, that had been a good call.  He’d tried to text Mel and encourage her to stay at the Capulet Estate but by the time he’d thought of it, the cellular towers seemed to have gone down as well. Still every person he came across, urging to get home and safe, he looked for Mel.  For Posey.  He couldn’t help but hope that they were safe together at the Capulet Estate.  Although he realized Posey could have been with her Montague Dominant as well, Anton.  And he even found himself searching for Georgie’s face in the crowds, but given her feelings about crowds and being out on the weekend now when things were busier, the Dominant hoped she was back at the Romano Estate safe.  “What are you doing out here?” Nic asked as he came across someone else again.

Too Close || Rafe x Alexei

Rafe had spent the better of his day trying to help out in the streets of Verona. He’d tried to text Alexei, but nothing seemed to be going through. He pushed aside the fears that something might’ve happened to him and tried to put his mind to better use. He’d heard his mother was setting up camp at The Globe and helping out there. He figured if he couldn’t find the younger submissive, then the best solution was to go and help his mother out at The Globe. 

When he got inside, he found a drink station and took a glass of water. He was exhausted and he was sure he looked the part. He was in a fitted tee and jeans, not wanting to make a mess of any of his suits. He looked around to see who he knew from town and his family. His eyes landed on the dark haired submissive and he let out a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding. “Alexei.” He said as he made his way closer to the man, trying to get his attention among the crowd.

At the Hospital ||Open

It wasn't that uncommon for Angelica to work past normal hours. So when the power went out at the hospital Friday night, the Domme was still there. Her administrator instincts kicked in almost immediately, as did the generators, bringing up all essential needs in the hospital, but still casting some of the halls into shadows.  She helped various parts of the hospital put their emergency protocols into place, and basically, the Domme was running back and forth throughout the hospital.  She worried for her family members once she heard about the verdict and as people began arriving at the hospital and word of the tumultuous night in the city began trickling into the hospital.  Her priority of course, was to keep the hospital and everything/everyone in it, as safe as possible.  In her head, she started keeping track of all the Capulets she saw so that she could pass on that information, if needed.  

Angelica was so focused on the next task she needed to complete that she almost didn’t hear her name being called, before she looked up.  “Sorry, how can I help you?”

In the Dark || Self Para

Tomi was getting dressed for a night out when the power went out at the Estate.  He was a little puzzled by this and so he headed outside, clad just in a pair of jeans and climbed a tree near the main house and looked out towards Verona.  The whole city was mostly dark, with pockets of light that looked like they might be fires.  He climbed back down and checked his phone and saw a couple of brief headlines about the verdict in the Montague trial, and rioting in the city.  “Fools,” he mumbled with a shake of his head before his phone stopped updating.  

Tomi tried texting Carlo, Liana, and even Arden, but there were no replies, the messaged just failed to send.  He checked Carlo’s cottage, but there was no answer.  Then he headed back to the main house and called out, but it was unusually quiet there as well.  Figuring Carlo was probably at Arden’s and that they had the sense to stay out of this nonesense, Tomi tried to find something to do.  

Even if his plans for the night had been derailed, there was no reason not to enjoy himself.  The Dominant undressed again and grabbed a small bathing suit, throwing his robe on over top and as many candles as he could round up.  He spread the candles out around the edge of the pool, lighting them, and then removing his robe and diving into the pool.  It was a little bit of a shame that he had no one to enjoy his little adventure with, but at the same time, a little solitude on a night like this was better than the alternative.

Nic: Got called back in tonight after the verdict came down just in case.

Nic: If you want to wait for me at my place, just use your key.

Nic: Okay things are not great out here. Stay at the Estate. You're probably more safe there. I'll check in with you later. Love you.

Nic: I think the cell towers are down along with the power. But in case random messages are getting through. Stay at the Estate. Stay safe. Worry about just you Mel. Don't be stubborn.
