¬ “Aarhan Ray had always been a target, from the moment he was born. His heritage and his father’s coven were the reason for countless attacks on him during his lifetime. He knew he played an important role, he valued the power of his magic, but very much like his wife - he grew to hate what ran through his veins. He knew a day would come where he would no longer manage to protect himself and his family, which is why he wanted to be prepared when tragedy struck. The care of his daughter was entrusted in the hands of his closest friend, and coven leader - Emmet Goldman.
Morwen Ray – [ deceased / 45 / npc ]
¬ “Morwen Ray was only 20 years old, when she was pushed into an arranged marriage, she wanted no part of. Even after having a daughter together, Morwen never grew to love her husband. She always worked on an escape plan, one that was only postponed by the birth of her son. Morwan had always denied her heritage, and she had not used her magic for even a day in her life. She believed there was nothing balanced and natural about magic, she used the word “dirty” to describe her blood, the one of her husband and her children.
¬ “Evanora Ray was born into the wealthy family of Aarhan Ray. As first daughter, and first granddaughter to the clan, Nora was protected and taught by the best of the coven her father was part of. A few years later, her brother was born. She had never been close with her mother, she has always stuck by her father’s side., until they were both murdered and her family home burnt.
Kai Ray - [ 23 / a wanted connection ]
¬ “Kai Ray was the son of Morwen and Aarhan Ray. An unwanted child, that was unlucky enough to be tossed into a family that cared more about his sister than about him. From a very young age, he took care of his magic; unlike Evanora his magic had always been light and good; his touch could heal. He left his home, before it burnt down. Nobody had seen him ever since.
Emmet Goldman – [ deceased / 56 / npc ]
¬ “Emmet had two kids of his own already when he took Evanora in and treated her as his own. He was far different from her father, and the family she had grown into. He knew the importance of treating the spirits right, of discipline, and using your magic, the full force of it. He entrusted her with tasks, that he believed she would exceed at, he believed in her and her magic, he believed she would accomplish great things. A few years later, Emmet was murdered, and the coven had been torn apart. It is rumored that his oldest daughter had taken after him, when Evanora ran away.
