Have you stopped writing the Farah Dowling fanfic thingie? You haven’t posted for a while so I thought I’d ask, sorry for bugging you!

I have several questions lined up regarding this, I picked one of the oldest at random: thank you to everyone who wrote, the warmth that surrounds this story is amazing.
Like, I have tons of texts like these ⬇️ waiting for an answer - honestly, you're all so sweet.
As I've written on IG at some point life came in the way; sorry for pausing the Archmistresses project for such a long time.
But, drum roll, good news: I have resumed writing it!
I meant to start posting when HotD had its premiére, but I am still not fully convinced of the material I have and I really want to have a good number of chapters ready when I start posting again. Cause when I do I don't want to stop till the end of it, real life be damned.
So, I don't know exactly when, but I promise that soon I will resume posting.
In the meantime I have been writing some new stuff/adding chapters to other Farah or Eve Best related stories on Ao3 and Wattpad, you could check them out if you haven't already - to ease the waiting :)

im going to rant about my own fic just because i can 😆
a lot of bad things happen because wilbur views every relationship he has as transactional (except for his relationship with dream. i tried to mirror canon here) you guys don't know wilbur's backstory yet but that is what he's been conditioned to do his whole life. when techno started doing things just out of the kindness of his heart (inviting him to christmas) that spooked wilbur (he tried to rationalise it by saying techno was going to spy on him or something) because wilbur hadn't really done anything to deserve it
that is also why wilbur started the argument about nothing on the boat, when they were eating. if techno upsetted wilbur (which he did end up doing) wilbur would be able to finish the transaction and yunno. kill him the next day. to wilbur, that's fair.
why didn't wilbur kill techno on the beach? theres a lot of factors but again it was transactional !!!!!!!! techno had been kind(ish) to wilbur even after the argument because thats just how he is!!! stupidly loyal forever!!! so wilbur couldn't kill him becuase that goes against how he's hardwired!!!!!
it's also the reason wilbur actually told techno about everything. i don't think he wouldve if he wasn't drunk, but i think he believed techno gave him happiness at christmas and in town, even if fleeting, and he had to pay techno back in what he knew. he also obviously felt like he had broken their promise at christmas. to not to keep secrets from each other.
i know we all hate dream for making wilbur a cog in a machine, but how much of it was already instilled in him? it's one of those things that if you go back and read it from the beginning, you'll spot little things about wilbur that make him seem a little off from his peers. like wilbur flying the sim incredibly well his first time. like wilbur absorbing knowledge about the plane freakishly. like wilbur punching techno in the sim. <- this one especially.
something i like about chapter 10 is how it parallels with chapter 6 and 7 (not intended. i mean the 67. the mirroring is very much intended) techno and wilbur argue about status and pride, techno and wilbur run, techno and wilbur crash (in 7 it's literal and in 10 it's metaphorical). and the next chapter will be in wilbur's pov. cool right? 🥹 my only qualms with fwts is the pacing. i feel like 1-6 have been straight fluff and now it's straight plot. i guess it's okay sometimes i have to remind myself it's literally just dream smp fanfiction not anything actually serious

sat down to start writing fwts chapter 8, checked the doc where i have brief summaries of every chapter and one of the notes is 'pass the Bechdel test'. i have completely forgotten how i was going to do that. i know it's something to do with kristen but im typing all the women who were part of the dsmp into my find and replace and im finding literally nothing. i think the minecraft youtube scene has a higher diversity problem than stem degrees
