it's anger. RAGE that digs a whole in her  heart. she's tired of the games.    & even worse is the   realization  that his childish nonsense has brought on. but her hands are tied,        at least until she gets henry back.      or so she thinks.    she doesn't know   why   he   keeps   popping   up at random.       why he keeps giving her the chance to kill him.          or why she can't bring herself to.

In most states in the US, there are laws that say you can, which people don’t understand. For example, in my state, a 20 year old can date a 17 year old legally.

That's what I'd heard tbh. I'd heard that most states have age limits and it's perfectly legal for 16 and 17 year olds to date people a bit older than them. I've heard in some places it's under 21 and others it's under 24/25? I did think people were probably being too extreme about it tbh because it's a bit much to call a relationship with a one year age gap wrong or 'paedophilia'.
