‘Tis the season for festivities. Reindeer and Santa sleighs decorated the heart of downtown Tokyo, jingle bells complimenting the face of consumerism and holiday gift-giving with a merry, little background song. A busy scene. Though as hectic as it got around this time of year, it never failed to instill a sense of childlike wonder in her veins. As a matter of fact, that anticipation was what brought her feet to this shopping district today.
It was a small, but modern store that’d been advertising its trees and all-things-Christmas as of late, and a particular ornament had caught her interest. ‘Twas a miniature green plant... known for the red berries and ribbon that was trademark of its charming appearance. Don’t mind her as she thinks aloud to the person right next door.
"Aah, how I do dream of kissing someone beneath the mistletoe this year. Do you suppose that will be possible?”
