@fxulplay said: tie. for [akaashi] to adjust an article of clothing on [bokuto] :)
(via the system of touch)
“I swear - I actually woke up in time this morning!! But my sister tried to make us pancakes for breakfast, and before you know it - bam! The pan is on fire! Maaaan, it was scary! Stuff like that always happens when she tries to cook...” Bokuto’s monologue goes on and on, a vivid account of what has been a particularly chaotic morning at the Bokuto housold (well... when the kitchen wasn’t on fire, it could always be something else - the laundry machine flooding, a cat mysteriously appearing in their living room... there is rarely a dull moment for Koutarou and his sisters). A chaotic morning that had to his being late to class, and being sent to the principal’s office... again.
Bokuto mumbles on under his breath, and only stops once he and Akaashi (who, for some enigmatic reason - Komi’s words, not his - had decided to escort him there) reach the dreaded door; Bokuto lets out a dramatic sigh, hair dipping as though to mimic his dismay. “This is gonna suck.” He grumbles. But - Bokuto isn’t facing this ordeal alone. Well, he is, but... Akaashi, apparently, decides to quietly stand in his corner. With barely a word and with authoritative calm, his junior instructs him to stand up straight; and Bokuto obliges, blinking as Akaashi’s hands rise to fix the loose tie around his neck. No doubt an unkempt uniform would have made a bad impression on the principle - gratitude makes his chest puff, and s hair stand upright on his head like plumage on an alert owl.
“Ah, thanks, Akaashi! Always so reliable!” Grateful and gleeful, Bokuto pats (or smacks?) Akaashi on the shoulder - twice. “Man, I hate ties - but! You’re right. Better make a good impression, eh?”
