PROMPTKIN SPICE - THE RETURN OF FALL - Darcyland 2019 Challenge

It’s officially September, which means reveling in all things fall and spicy even though it’s probably still 90 degrees out there. So we’re offering up some good old fashioned guilty pleasures in the form of promptkin spice (you know you love pumpkin spice, don’t even try to deny it), to get you in the spirit of fall, and to fall back in love with our fave MCU girl, Ms. Darcy Lewis. For steamy hot tubs in mountain lodges. Bedsharing underneath homemade quilts. Halloween hijinks. Anything goes. And any and all Darcy ships for our DARCYSSANCE. We go from mild heat to triple X ghost pepper in the Scoville scale HOT.
Cinnamon - sweet and gentle
Coriander - warm and bright
Garam Masala - curious and flavorful
Allspice - robust and fragrant
Nutmeg - intense and woody
Cardamom - flushed and complex
Cloves - consuming and mysterious
Ginger - biting and impassioned
Cayenne - fiery and torrid
Sinnamon - pure capsaicin XXX take me to church and cleanse my soul
Pick a spice and a pairing and run wild with your imagination. You can be as literal or metaphorical with your chosen spice/pairing as you want. For first-time writers to seasoned veterans. You can write one-shots, two-shots, short fic, long fic, anything goes, and we’ll keep it open for the month of September.
