My thoughts on the novel 'Enduring Love'

SPOILERS AHEAD

I generally liked the novel a lot. The pacing was a fantastic way to keep the suspense at a high and it kept me on edge the entire time. 

Joe Rose kind of annoyed me and he made a lot of stupid mistakes (especially with his wife) and his character was really dumb for being really logical and rational, but that added to the suspense of the novel.

His wife also kind of annoyed me because she never seemed fully concerned on his behalf, but she was really likeable (to me) and she seemed to be the one with the most sense in the entire novel.

Jed was a freak and I loved it and was frightened by it. Even though I did tend to feel sympathy for him at certain parts and I never really did see him as crazy until he was like going to kill himself (and Joe at some point but he never went along with it)

I felt so bad for Jean Logan until the end, I was like "OH SHIT HE NEVER CHEATED ON HER" and then I felt bad for calling him an ass...

The scene in the restaurant where the one guy was shot and killed was so crazy. AND THEN JED WAS THERE

I liked how they made Joe, the rational man and the one being stalked, seem more of a threat than Jed, the actual stalker, was. Those are my favorite moments, when they think the normal character is actually the crazy one, but I did think that Joe was being kind of ridiculous about the entire thing (at first, I mean, not when Jed ACTUALLY went a little crazy haha)

The only bad thing I have to say is that I felt that the ending was rushed and I didn't like the how Joe just shot Jed in the shoulder and that was that. It was very anti-climactic.

But I enjoyed the novel a lot. It was a good read :]
