Gundam 00 Week Day 1: Trap | AO3 Link

A/N: Set precanon with minor backstory spoilers; warnings are light but can be found in the end note. Title is from the lyrics of “Trap” by The Back Horn.

“First of all, no, and second, screw you,” Leesa snapped. “This is where I draw the line.”

“You agreed to be Celestial Being’s tactical forecaster, and that means you agreed to work with the Gundam Meisters,” said the old guy. She squinted at him for a few seconds, trying to remember his name.  It started with an “I,” she thought—she’d been pretty drunk when they were introduced, but she did remember that much.

“I didn’t agree to give orders to that!” Leesa exclaimed, focusing on the matter at hand and gesturing toward the hangar.

It was separated from the conference room they were in by a sheet of mirrored glass paneling, so both of them had a clear view of the skinny Middle Eastern boy who was attempting to run a maintenance check on a mobile suit a few yards away from them. He was hampered in the attempt by a shirt some four sizes too big for him, which kept slipping down to cover his hands and getting caught on the machine’s gun turrets when he tried to move to a different part of the robot.

“Look, it’s Laundry Day, and the girls got overenthusiastic, so I had to loan him a shirt,” the man—Ian, yes, his name was Ian—all but groaned.  “He does have clothes that fit.”

“Yes, clothing in children’s sizes, because he is a child,” Leesa said, gesturing wildly.  “I decided by coming here that I was okay with committing acts of terrorism in order to bring peace, but this is a whole different level of war crime.”

“Veda wouldn’t have selected him unless he was going to at least be of age by the time the plan starts,” Ian said calmly.

Of age where? Leesa wondered.

“We still have to train him first,” she said aloud.  “Which is still a war crime, and also, wrong.”

Ian’s gruff frown deepened. “All we’re teaching him is how to work a mobile suit and enough English to use the OS.”

Leesa frowned back, confused.  “We aren’t even giving him combat training?”

“It’s against the rules around here to go prying into people’s pasts,” Ian said.  And then, “But he’s cleared for combat training. According to Veda, he doesn’t need it.”

Leesa looked through the window again.  The kid was taking advantage of the low gravity in the hangar to hover near the mobile suit’s head, either checking the optical cameras or just staring at its face. The oversized shirt was billowing out around him.  It was almost picturesque, if you forgot that you were looking at a child and an instrument of war.

Or if you didn’t realize that for a kid that young-looking to get out of combat training, he would almost have to have combat experience.

She cursed softly.

“I got a kid a little younger than him,” Ian said.  “Doesn’t do my heart any good to think about that, though.”

“I can’t think that it would,” Leesa managed.  

“I guess some people’s reasons for getting involved in Celestial Being are more obvious than others,” Ian remarked.

Yeah, being a child soldier…that would be a pretty good reason to want to end war, Leesa thought.  “He may have good reasons, but I still don’t like this.”

“You don’t have to,” Ian said.  “You have a choice—put up with it or leave.  Unless you really think you can make a computer change its mind.”  He frowned.  “Talking the kid out of it is always an option, I guess, but if Veda picked him, there was a reason for it.”

“I need a drink,” Leesa declared, standing.

“You really should go easier on the alcohol,” Ian said, frowning again.

“And you should go easier on the parenting,” Leesa replied.  “Save it for the kid, okay?”

“Whatever you say, Ms. Sumeragi,” Ian said, grinning a bit.

Heh, what a codename, Leesa thought, heading for the door.  Wonder what they’ll stick the kid with?

The kid.  Screw me. I am going to need so much more alcohol.

Summer got the most votes for when to hold this year’s event, so Gundam 00 Week will be held this year July 8th - 14th.

Super Soldier Will Never Broke

My very 1st English fanfic for  the 10th anniversary of Gundam 00 ^^

I usually write fanfic in Indonesian and still learn English. Since English is not my language, please forgive me if there are lot of grammar nazy in here.

I will edit it if I have a time to do it

Spoilers : This fanfic taken after operation fallen angels or season 1 of Gundam 00. This is the headcanon about when Allelujah taken as prisoner of ESF before he being saved and being interrogated by Soma “Marie Parfacy” Peries

Character : Allelujah Haptism 

Rated : Fiction-T, Horror/Tragedy , Violence

Summary : After Operation Fallen Angels, Allelujah being captured by ESF. He do his best to save his remain friends by not telling the federation about the Celestial Being, which resulting him being tortured and spend his horrible time at detention center. . .. alone.

“ Winged-ones Gundam Pilot, Subject E-0057. Is he have a real name ? “

“ We still have no idea about his real name. Even the scientist and lieutenant Peries only known him as that name. “

“ I see. So, what we will do to him? From his age, he pretty young to be a international criminal. Shall we not to treat him like that ? “

“ He probably 19 or 20 years old. The age which not category as young children. According to the HRL Superhuman institute, he is a failed subject who runaway from that place. And the failure of their research which causing he has a psychotic and murderous persona which is very threatened. If we let him to joined the cell with another prisoner, there are many possibility that he will easily runaway by causing a havoc at he detention center “ 

“ So this why the higher ups let us to put him into the straitjacket and isolated him from the other prisoner ? “

“ Not only that. Since he is the member of celestial being. I’m sure he will tell to us about where the celestial being whereabouts. We will do anything to get information to him, even we need to use a violence at him “

It’s already 2 years Allelujah at the detention center. And he now at medical bay to treat his wound that cause by the several man who involve a violence interrogation at him. The doctor seem feel bored to see him due he always to go to medical bay after the interrogation.

“ You still not giving up. I’m feel pity at you kid. This is already several time you go and out from this place after the interrogation. I’m already tell to you, just tell to them about what you know about Celestial Being.and you will saved. And what you do is you just let yourself being tortured in this place “ Said the doctor with flat expression

Allelujah wanted to say something. But he realized that he still being muzzled and being restrained bed. So he can do nothing but hearing his complaint while he prepare a medicines.

“ There are many prisoner who suffer a same thing with you. But they ended to giving up and tell what ever they know to save themselves. And this is a first time to see a prisoner who still remains strong to face that interrogation. Listen to me. . . if you want to save and will never suffer this again, just tell. Tell to them about whatever information about Celestial Being. If you got it, do what I said to you “ Said the doctor when he give a sedation at him.

“ You indeed such a tough person that I ever meet, kid “

That right

Its almost 2 years he is in detention center. But he still never giving up to share the information about Celestial Being to the federation for save his remains friends.

He faced it. Many interrogation and a violence involve by them. He even never let them to see another prisoner.

He is put in very dark dim cell, isolated, bound and gagged at the chair.

He only given a straitjacket as his current cloth.

He only being feed in 2 times at week.

Every night, the guard give him a water to make him not suffer a dehydration.

Sometime he face a cruelty by the guard who beat him for fun

But he never giving up to tell the information about Celestial Being. He do his best to save them from the federation

Darkness. . . 

Violence. . .

Surgery. . . 

He faced in over days, weeks and years.

Thought he almost lose his hope to being save. He believe that he can be saved by his comrade, and wishing he can reunite with Marie in the future

Allelujah slowly wake up and he is in his cell. No longer after that, the guard come to his cell to give him a water. He drink it, and the guard give a same comment with the doctor to him before they leave the cell.

“ You still not giving up kid. Don’t pretend to be so tough at us. If you can’t handle them, just tell to them about the information about Celestial Being. And they will give you a little remission at you “ said one of the guard while he re-apply the muzzle before they leave.

After leave, Allelujah down his head and close his eyes. He think about the day when he first time meet Marie and his life after he successfully escape from the institute. He already used to living by himself at street and try very hard to avoid HRL area in order to not being re-captured by them.

He avoid the other people who face him. Fearing that it will a military who undercover in order to capture him. And he avoid to not killing the others for staying alive.

After he recruit by Celestial Being. He willingly accept the offer as Gundam Meisters, and he start his new life wishing he can change the world. The member of Celestial Being is feel like his own family. So this why. . . he will never giving up to save them from federation

“ This is only I can to save them. Setsuna. . .Tieria. . .Sumeragi-san. . .Feldt. . .  and the others. I’m sure all of you are save “
