Ok, got the headphone mod done. You want to us an RJ9 connector to the radio. This is the same smaller square plug that the telephone handset uses to connect to the cradle/ body of the phone. The RJ11 which has the same 4 wires in it that you connect a telephone to the wall outlet with is too big.
So, flight of the bumble bee from the Adventure Radio Society was not great this year. Solar weather plagued us this weekend and even more so with QRP operations. Never have I seen so many 229 RST reports.
Forgot the SST slow speed test was at 0000z too and got in there to make 1 contact at the end.
The Xeigu G106 is the FT 817 I missed in many ways still. Really enjoying what it offers and need to figure out some rig control settings next so I can use more of the SKCC logger.
