I just think that Gaban and Roger both called Rayleigh their wife and thought it was hilarious and incredibly funny.

Gaban kinda chills around Elegia because Shanks asked them to not interfere with Uta’s life. Gaban had a feeling something is off once the concert starts.

Roger finds out when he tries to call Gaban and he doesn’t pick up. Gaban has never missed a call.

Rayleigh loses it.

GabanRay to me is just Gaban being all o3o to Rayleigh and Rayleigh like “what in the seas are you doing are you alright?”.

Meanwhile Roger laughs his ass off because the blonde is clueless. It’s been going on for years and Rayleigh still hasn’t realized Gaban is in love with him.

Gaban often visits Sabaody, but can’t bring himself to visit Rayleigh. He will sit outside Shakky’s bar, every part of him wanting to go in but he can’t. He feels immeasurably guilty for not being there for the man, for leaving him when he was needed most.
