I know I haven't posted in a while. I've been going through it. Life is beating me up left and right. But one thing that isn't is my relationship with this man right here. It's been almost 9 months but it feels like 9 years. This was at my dad's 50th birthday party and one of his friends caught this without us knowing. Despite all the things going in my life and in this world, this moment made me realize that I'm not doing it alone and I have a beautiful black man supporting me through all of this ❤️

I'm not gonna lie. I'm kinda upset that there's so much coverage on how all these police officers came out for just ONE of the officers that died in Dallas. Philando Castile's funeral was also today. It just upsets me that highways had extreme traffic. And the same people that get pissed that black people protest peacefully on highways were giving heart emojis and sad faces for the officer. I'm not saying I don't feel sadness for those officers who were slain. I am, however, saying that all lives do not matter. And if that wasn't a perfect example as to why black people are upset, then I don't know what is. You can remove a uniform but you can't remove your skin color.

Happy Mother's Day to the woman who birthed me. She taught me how to love myself, told me I was beautiful every time I felt that I wasn't, encouraged me through my toughest moments, and caught every tear that I shed whenever I felt low. She is my best friend and an amazing person. I wish all of y'all could experience the beauty of this woman! 😩😭💕

I swear if another blog with a "sexy" young white girl as the profile picture messages me again..... This is the seventh time that I've reported it as spam. I really feel like it's the same person over and over again. The messages are all the same: "Hey :) I'm bored. Just a 23y/f looking for some fun and to hook up sometime." Nahh fam. And then I look at their blog... Not a single post in sight. I'm disturbed y'all.
