A Tuesday morning wedding -- and a beautiful morning it is. Fiona won’t deny crying if she’s accused, but really, it had felt justified. It’d been a well deserved moment of joy after a long time spent waiting. Isn’t that a worthwhile occasion for some happy tears? She’s nothing but smiles now, though, and has just finished giving her eager well wishes to the bride when she turns in search of her cousin. Finding him quickly among their small crowd, Fiona grins, crossing the distance between them in a fluid motion and wrapping Gabe in a hug. “Congratulations!” The younger fae squeals into his shoulder, her smile wide enough to hurt somewhat, even as something troubles her. There’s something there, something her empathy won’t let her ignore, an uneasiness roiling in her cousin with enough fervor to bring about real concern. Fiona’s quick to fix the furrow in her brow that this causes, straightening up to look Gabe in the face. This is a happy day, and besides, it’s a bit late for cold feet. No, no. It’s something else, and just as quickly, Fiona decides she’s not so sure she wants to know. Back to the joy -- it’s easier. “It was beautiful, Gabe. I’m so, so happy for you.” A quick squeeze of his hand does nothing to soothe her worries, but it’s affectionate even as her blue eyes search for something telling in his expression. “How are you feeling? Must be exciting to finally be husband and wife.”
