          “Hey!” he calls out, which is, of course, a bit rude, and it attracts a little more attention than what is ideal, “Hey wait a sec... Don’t I know you?”

          “You’re making a terrible mistake, getting close to him.” He speaks from the other end of the bar as Gabriel takes his seat. He’s been watching, as he often does. He checks in from time to time, at a distance, but lately, there’s been something different. Someone new.
