Him: yes! It was 50 meters of floss but it lasted so long! I think I got a thing with extra floss in it, it's great. And now it's done. A good job.

Me: that seems perfectly normal for 50 meters of floss

Me: yeah, you use what, 30 cm a day?

Him: this much

Me: okay more like 20. So that's five night per meter

Him: yeah

Me: so that's like

Him: 50 nights! And it's lasted like 200!

Him: it has

Me: 250 nights, not 50

Me: 5 nights per meter, 50 meters. 5 x 50 is 250. 250 nights is most of a year, the floss is perfectly normal
