The Violence at Trump Rallies is Planned, Intentional

It is not enough to say that Trump has inadequately discouraged violence. Trump has strategically encouraged escalating violence at his events. Trump is barreling to the Republican nomination against many in his party’s wishes. His best case scenario is to have the largest amount of delegates but have the RNC try and wiggle the nomination away from him. Trump expects to have a brokered convention. He sends a clear message that he can direct the rowdy rubes to get violent on command if necessary. The implicit threat has to be considered by anyone in the Republican Party hoping to curtail Trump’s victory. He has the potential to make Chicago ‘68 a tea party.
