actually yeah the whole Suffering Makes Good Art thing is really bad for me and probably others because it makes me feel like there should be something productive about my bad days, I should be making something of this, this has to have an application in some creative scope
and it just doesn't work and I can't tell if that drive to turn the bad feelings into good poetry is learned or inherent
but for every sylvia plath or virginia woolf or frieda kahlo or neil hilborn there's gotta be 10 other mentally ill fuckers who just stare at the wall instead
