Out of curiosity, why does Bonnie lack a “proper” tail? I skimmed your blog for an answer but couldn’t find one. Is she a hybrid? Just born without one (like how some people are just born without a limb)? Or is there some other reason? This isn’t a criticism of any sorts, just my curiosity poking me haha
III have answered the question here!
Hybrids aren't really a thing in this setting (unless it's a hybrid that can actually happen in real life, like a narluga for example), it's a really cool concept but I decided to go the Bojack route where the baby of different species parents are born as one or the other.
Sorry if this is completely random. But your art has inspired me to make a sona as a fat, intersex transmasc butch, to try and help deal with both dysphoria and dysmorphia, leaning towards reindeer right now because antlers. Thank you for being an inspiration, and I hope you have a great day!
THANK YOU ANON
have you considered the gill slits as ears? iirc the gill arches are homologous to the jaw bones that (evolutionarily) become the inner ear
Haha, Haven't really thought that deep into it, I just think it looks cute with fin ears.
