Kayl, the demon who had always been confidential about his private life, always careful to talk about certain subjects, meticulous even with whom he would share certain moments of his life— now was leaning against the jet black vehicle, the seriousness all over his features and body language, not liking a single bit of what he was seeing. It was a conflict of feelings existing inside his chest, to see Gael walking with a guy with bright pink hair, about his height and who looked like a big goofy idiot smiling while talking about some topic he, unfortunately, couldn't listen to. Jealousy was prevalent, and while he never once doubted the moonsprite's intentions and purity, he didn't believe half a percent of anyone else who crossed Gael's path.

When the other man stopped a few feet away from the car and watched the moonsprite walk towards himself, the demon took the opportunity to stare at him, literally in a menacing, threatening way; enough to make him understand what was going on. Seconds later though, his expression softened and he greeted his partner with both arms around the small frame, pressing Gael against himself tightly while sealing their lips in a possessive, explicit and completely exaggerated kiss. They were in a public space, and several students and even teachers walked around the courtyard. Knowing that quite well though, it wasn't enough to stop the demon with his reactions, only wanting to make it clear to anyone watching them, that the beautiful creature inside his arms was unavailable, even to look at.

peek-a-boo / gael&kayl

Coming back from the nearby town about one, two hours after the sunset, Kayl walked serenely through Pidvone, just desiring to have a drink as soon as possible and then finally go home and get out of there the next day only, the process happening a few days ago. The man just occurred to be a little down lately, allowing himself to dig deep into the distractions the place could still provide to the eyes, as well as alcohol, this one always there for him in one way or another. Visibly aimless, like a tourist walking through the streets of an unknown city aching to absorb all kinds of information one could to engrave them all, he identified the location that had been shown to him some days ago in a conversation, recognizing the name Dark Letters with ease. If his phone wasn't running out of battery, he would definitely text him, just to confirm if there's the place where the owner knew how to make a good drink, being exactly what he wanted at the very moment.

Kayl walked in towards the place, the plan still up as he had established before, willing to buy the drink and have it as he strolled around the still unfamiliar location once again, though, before he could get close enough to make the order, his body abruptly froze; there's some distance though he would recognize him even if he had his back turned, another hair color, unusual clothes or whatever― as happened not once, but twice, maybe three times in a matter of months. A knot settled inside his throat instantly, instead of ordering the drink and leaving as he had planned, the demon made a point of pushing one of the chairs away from its table, sitting there shamelessly― ready to stay as long as necessary. The change of plans had so too many reasons he didn't want to have to think about them right now, still, he would know that being there, in some way or another, answers would be received, those he's been waiting for some time already. Swallowing in that knot, a smirk took the place of the no longer existing surprised expression as he felt the other's gaze pierce throughout himself, not requiring to look at the direction Gael was in to feel the atmosphere becoming somewhat denser than before. With a smooth movement, Kayl raised his hand, acting as a regular customer would, just being there to have a good meal and a good time.

“Opening up like this isn't something I'm used to, but—” A short sigh escaped his lips and soon, the demon showed a smile. “He's amazing. Of all the creatures I've ever encountered, humans, whatever kinds of beings there might be in this world, I've never seen anyone like him. He's sweet, a little stubborn at times; I can also say there are some trust issues inside his mind and chest, but none of that makes him look any less awesome, any less beautiful. I dare say, I can't see flaws, not about him. Cliché or not, he's literally a light that, yeah, exactly— he does illuminate this endless life of mine. Completely sublime, ethereal— a lovely little piece of the moon that I infinitely love with all my soul and being.”

The car keys were still lounging on the coffee table in the middle of the living room, a transparent bag was on top of it too, as well as two small white plastic trays where a total of six éclairs were situated. It wasn't easy to find these, going all the way to Seoul and visiting a few different bakeries until found the ones that looked tasty enough for Gael. Since the first time the demon, by sheer coincidence and perhaps guesswork, discovered this was one of the moon spirit's favorite sweets, certainly wasn't a detail he would forget so easily, which proved to be true when he came back with it especially for him— watching the male eat with such enthusiasm and even being completely easy to visualize a certain glint in the eyes while savoring the dessert.

Kayl just watched the scene as closely as he could, body lazily leaning against the sofa's soft cushion, left resting on Gael's thigh while the right held the phone he pretended to be distracted on just so he didn't look like some kind of maniac as he admired the moonsprite doing this simple task that eating was. Soon his gazes were caught and Kayl found himself with a piece of the éclair in front of the face. As a dejavu, it was a tiny piece, probably what Gael himself wanted to share with him after having almost everything for himself, but to the demon, it didn't really matter. Holding his wrist to keep it steady, Kayl had the last piece of sweet that was left; as it was small, didn't take long for it to go down his throat and the sudden urge to drink something invaded his senses, however, right now it was the last thing he would worry about. Fingers still wrapped around the pristine wrist, Kayl wiped away the remnants of cream that still clung to the younger boy's fingertips— and clearly, it wasn't just for the purpose of actually washing away the creamy consistency, the stare directed at those purple ashy orbs were enough to explain his real intentions. “Was it good, baby?”
