What kind of fic I’d write about them: Romantic but also a bit sad. I like exploring Sebastian’s feelings of being unworthy, and of course there has to be a lot of sexual tension. Sizzie just explodes with it on screen.
A favorite canon moment: Sebastian is a multifaceted character, so I will pick a few moments based on the emotions. Silly moment: Sebastian and MG cat fighting in Kaleb’s bed room. Sad moment: Sebastian crying after explaining that he had to watch the Croatoan kill Cassandra. Romantic moment: Sebastian talking to Lizzie in the car after they had sex and saying that he wants to stay at the Salvatore school “if you’ll have me.”
Color that reminds me of them: Red (Not just because he’s a vampire. It’s also because of Harry Hook lol)
Song that reminds me of them: “i can’t breathe” by Bea Miller (the lyrics fit his backstory so well and it’s got that sad vibe)
A headcanon about them: Sebastian becomes fascinated by movies and starts going through a list of “100 movies you should see in your lifetime.” Lizzie is more than happy to watch them with him, but he has to start watching them alone because watching the movies with Lizzie turns into sexy times far too easily lol
A random AU I think up on the spot for them: Since I did Sizzie on the other one, here is one for Sebastian/MG. I can imagine a sort of jock/nerd AU. MG sees that Sebastian is this cool guy that can get all the girls, so he asks Sebastian to mentor him on how to get girls. Sebastian gives him terrible advice, but it’s hilarious for him to watch MG fail. He starts to fall for MG. Sebastian comes up with new practices so he can secretly flirt with MG, and MG starts to realize he wishes the flirting was real. Nice dose of mutual pining before they finally get together!
Anything else: Sebastian is just such a fun, interesting character. He brings a lot to the story, and I really hope he will be a regular in season 3. I want to see him interact with more of the characters.
random theory time: sebastian will call josie “josephine” in their first actual interaction
PLEASE. I HAD A FEELING THAT THAT'S PROBABLY WHAT HE WOULD ASSUME WHEN HE HEARS HER NAME. I need him to call her "Josephine" I am begging the universe. And then when he finds out "Josie" is short for "Josette" I need him to only refer to her as that. But JOSEPHINE, MY HEART. Oh god, this is it, isn't it? The start of yet another ship. Alright, might as well, let's go!

Who hogs the duvet: Lizzie, absolutely, but Sebastian isn't complaining for a second because he doesn't really get that cold anyway and all he really has to do is cuddle her.
Who texts/rings to check how their day is going: Sebastian more than Lizzie, simply because he likes hearing how she's doing and he is a sweetheart.
Who's the most creative when it comes to gifts: Lizzie will always find a way to give him some super strange, super creative gift that really throws him because he is not used to this much thought and care being put into something for him.
Who gets up first: Lizzie. That girl can be extremely perky some mornings, and will already be up looking bloody amazing, doing her morning yoga or eating pancakes or whatever while Sebastian's still half asleep and looks like an absolute dork. It's rare he gets up before her, but when he does, he either stays in bed just lying there with her with a fond smile or he'll have made breakfast for her.
Who suggests new things in bed: I wanna say Sebastian because I can see him doing that, but I gotta go with Lizzie. She'd suggest things that would surprise even him. Though that wouldn't be hard considering he's been desiccated since the fifteenth century and probably doesn't quite have the same extensive knowledge as she might.
Who cries at movies: Lizzie. Although, I feel like if anyone is going to find a movie that will make Sebastian cry, it will be her.
Who gives unprompted massages - Sebastian. And Lizzie adores it.
Who fusses over the other when they're sick: Assuming Sebastian could get properly sick, I'd say Lizzie would make the biggest fuss over him. She'd probably make a bigger deal out of it than necessary and end up searching for vampire sickness ailments or whatever when he's really not that sick, but he appreicates it.
Who gets jealous easiest: Honestly? Both of them. Lizzie just knows that people are obviously gonna be eyeing Sebastian up, and a little bit of jealousy can kick in every now and then. For Sebastian, as well, because Lizzie's the popular girl in a way and everyone loves the popular girl, and he is a fifteenth century vampire who hasn't quite learned the ways of the modern era or how to function properly in a relationship without threatening to tear someone's throat out for having a crush on her.
Who has the most embarrassing taste in music: Probably Sebastian. Look, I don't know what the hell kind of music there was in the 1400s, but I'm willing to bet that Lizzie wouldn't like it all that much.
Who collects something unusual: Unless Sebastian's out here collecting hearts or something, I'm gonna go with Lizzie, probably.
Who takes the longest to get ready: Lizzie, though Sebastian really isn't much better.
Who is the most tidy and organised: I'm gonna with both of them, though Sebastian maybe a little more?? Just because he's all fancy and stuff.
Who gets most excited about the holidays: Lizzie, absolutely. Sebastian finds it adorable when she starts gushing about the snow and decorating and Caroline coming home (who, may I just say, is absolutely thrilled to meet him...).
Who is the big spoon/little spoon: Sebastian is the big spoon, Lizzie is the little spoon. Although the image of Sebastian as the little spoon in this relationship is intriguing to me...
Who gets most competitive when playing games or sports: Always Lizzie.
Who starts the most arguments: Both of them. They're dramatic and like conflict, what do you want me to say? They're perfect for each other.
Who suggests that they buy a pet: I can't see either of them really wanting one, to be honest.
What couple traditions do they have: Picnics by the lake on anniversaries.
What tv shows do they watch together: Lizzie is absolutely trying to help Sebastian adjust to the modern era, so she's probably got him watching things like Charmed and CSI.
What other couples do they hang out with: MG and Kaleb, Hope and Maya (and Penelope when she comes back), Josie and Rafael
How they spend their time together as a couple: Walks around town, dates at the Grill and by the lake and even (with permission) outside of Mystic Falls.
Who made the first move: It was definitely Lizzie, as we've seen, though Sebastian has been putting on the charm so...both of them?
Who brings flowers home: Sebastian. Even as a fifteenth century vampires, he knows the classic romance moves.
Who is the best cook: I'm gonna go with Lizzie on this even though I'm not so sure she can cook, simply because I trust the idea of Sebastian cooking even less.
one of the many reasons i want that josie and sebastian to have more scenes together is for kaylee and thomas to hang out. i mean, can you imagine how cool it would be that friendship?
God, yes, I absolutely can. I need that to happen now, so that we can have photos and stories on their Instagrams on set and everything. That friendship would be truly precious. Now I don't just want Josie and Sebastian to have scenes because it would be such an interesting dynamic, but also so we can see Kaylee and Thomas being friends. Thank you for that wonderful thought!
I think that the reason why Sebastian appeared to Lizzie first was because he was trying to find his past lover, maybe. as far as I can tell, it seems that she looked a lot like Lizzie or something like that (?
It's definitely been made clear that Lizzie looks a lot like Sebastian's past lover. You could very well be onto something there. Maybe he just sensed somewhere nearby, thought it might be her (because both Gemini Coven witches maybe??), and bam, he apppears to Lizzie. Until they explain it in the next episode, I have no idea what's going on with him, but I am greatly enjoying guessing, and that is a very plausible theory.
what's your oppinion on last night's episode? I knew it was gonna be good because freya mikaelson herself was gonna be there but i wasn't expecting to be so good. sebastian's backstory broke my heart but it left me with more questions than answers, and I desperatly need some flashbacks of cassadra and how he got to the Salvatore boarding House from roanoke
My opinion? Best episode of the season so far. But I've been saying that about every episode because damn! This season has really stepped up its game! Seriously though, it was so tense, my heart was racing, I cried, I laughed, my heart was broken and foxed in the space of forty minutes.
Freya being there was absolutely always gonna make the episode ten times better, and I loved seeing her. I've missed her so much! And hearing her talk about Keelin and Nik!! But yeah, it was even better than I was expecting.
God, yeah, Sebastian. I've cried way too much over this sad puppy of a vampire. His backstory, at least with Cassandra, was truly heartbreaking. I know people don't buy it, but I certainly do because there was just way too much vulnerability there. I definitely have so many questions now as well, though.
How did he meet Cassandra?? Why was he in Roanoke?? Was she possibly part of the Gemini Coven or just a super powerful witch who Lizzie happens to resemble?? And yes, how the hell did he get from Roanoke to underneath the Salvatore Boarding House?? We need these flashbacks or we will riot.
