The illusion that Naeem's got nothing going on behind those eyes may deceive Gaeren in the beginning because Gaeren is a golden retriever himbo, but the reality is that Naeem is psychoanalyzing whoever he's staring at and breaking them down on a molecular level so he can push their buttons later.

“Have I finally placated your eternal boredom, Naeem?” Gaeren asked, voice dripping with sarcasm. 

Naeem tilted his head a bit with a smile. 

“For now.” he mused. “But…there are still more ways you can satisfy my curiosity.”
