She entered when E’kusye gave her permission to, setting down the tea tray on the nearby desk. It would have been more convenient to put it on the nightstand, but Kasumi had the impression the Miqo’te needed her space more than she needed the beverage within arm’s reach. Pulling out the chair by the desk, she placed a poultice of herbs into each cup on the tray and waited for them to brew.
The other Warrior of Light’s voice sounded as downtrodden as she had looked. For a moment, Kasumi didn’t know how to respond- did E’kusye mean to ask about the Lord Commander’s physical state, considering he had been wounded after being taken to the Vault? Or his mental state, following his father’s betrayal and the loss of Lord Haurchefant? ...it was hard to tell.
“Ser... Ser Aymeric will be alright,” she finally said, quietly. “His wounds were nothing t-too severe... He j-just needs to rest.” Getting him to do that would probably be harder than she made it sound, but Lucia had assured Kasumi the chirurgeons could handle him.
“I... I think we’re all upset, though... A lot h-happened there.” She didn’t have to specify. As if fighting through a small army of Ishgardian soldiers hadn’t been bad enough, four of the Heavens’ Ward knights had become monsters before their eyes and taxed them beyond words.
Kasumi had tried to save Haurchefant... but even her most powerful and draining spells of recovery had not been enough, and her regenerative ones could not keep up with how quickly his aether had left him. All she’d ended up doing was give him enough time to say good-bye. “I’m... I’m- I’m sorry, E’kusye.”

{ /oh man i know the feeling/ that’s how I felt when I got my free company invitations on Midgardsormr and Louisoix. It’s really nerve-wracking but if the people seem nice, accepting the invitation is totally fine and if it’s a good free company they won’t hold it against you if you don’t really participate much in the chat }
I was invited to Shiva and I decided to not be the sheltered beetle I am and accepted it
And now i have someone talking to me and my anxiety is THROUGH THE FUCKING ROOF
@gaiavowed - Serah
“Hey, oh.. You’re waking up.” The King said as he looked down towards her. She had randomly appeared in his world out of no where. From what he could sense. She had died on her world, so now she was getting a second chance in his, She had been out of it for a while. So he carried her all the way back to his palace and put her down gently on his couch. Until she was waking now. “Are you alright? No remaining pain? Do you remember who you are? Can you tell me?”

“Hey! you! Yeah, you. Er, sorry I don’t know your name but I wanted to thank you for your backup in the previous battle. Thank you.”
@gaiavowed liked for a starter! [For Serah, if you don’t mind!]
Well, he had been chasing some basilisks but then suddenly found himself in a world that... didn’t look anything like his own world! It was some weird grassland with plants and creatures about that he didn’t recognize and, if he were honest with himself, he was a little scared. Unsheathing his sword, Firion steps carefully, jumping at every sound that echoed around him.
Where was Maria? Or Guy? Were they here with him too? Were they okay? After hearing a loud bang behind him, Firion nearly jumped from his skin and took off running in the opposite direction, nearly knocking over a poor young lady in his path.
“Oh!” He skids to a halt, inches from the lady. “I’m very sorry, I didn’t see you there! Do you think you could help me? I seem to be lost.”
@gaiavowed ( Sofia ) has requested a reading of their fate.
✩▐░▒ ❝ —If it is an insight to your fate you seek, thy hath arrived to the right place, ❞ Though he kept a straight face, something from HIS CRYSTAL OF LIGHT was giving some sense; a very vague sense of resonation with the maiden who approached his starstruck stall. In fact, X’luca was partially hopeful that he would be able to do a reading for her, merely out of sheer curiosity to see if she is among Hydaelyn’s chosen.
💥{ rem for machina? }

💥 Try to calm my muse during an overwhelming emotional moment
Machina stormed off the classroom after having that one conversation with Cater. That red-haired girl surely knows how to be annoying–God! How much he is holding it inside! Just being near them is suffocating! These…monsters…
Heavy steps pounding against the marble floor, the cadet was heading outside to get fresh air when he heard footsteps following him so he turned around to lash out on whoever it was but he held his tongue when he saw it was just Rem.
“R-Rem …What’s wrong? Did they say anything to you?” Eyebrows furrowed as he expected something but the girl shook her head saying she is following him because he looked….off. “H-huh? I’m not–…sigh. I am fine.” but Rem insisted that he sounded ..different than usual.
“–I said I am fine!” a little bit loud than he ever remembered he talked to her before–his first time ever! The realization dawned on him which made his features twist in FEAR and disgust! “I…I’m sorry…” he quickly turned and hurried off away but Rem followed after him. Yes, she was shocked because it didn’t sound like him. Sadly, she lost sight of him when he used the sigil but she knew he would be at his usual place–the terrace.
And there he was, sitting on a bench there, hands covering his face so Rem slowly made her way to him and sat beside him. He wanted to get up, unable to look at her but she held into his arm and brought him back. Rem kept holding his arm so he does not leave and calmly told him that whatever happened, happened and he could apologize for being mean to Cater later on. She told him that she is not mad or sad about his tiny outburst if he was concerned.
“Rem…I’m sorry…” I can’t tell you everything but I want you safe…You, Suzaku and Orience….I’m sorry….
