Orion: The human, trained Pokemon aren’t too keen on abandoning the orders of their Trainers... sometimes separating them is an option... it was a Team Machine method, wasn’t it?
SNARK: Ah, yes... Hmm...
Orion: ...What? What is it...?
SNARK: It’s just interesting... seeing you so serious...
Kamila: Well, no one expected these guys to show up, right as Osric got his teleportation ability back...
Cherry: S-so what do we do if they decide not to let us go to Orre... or... use us-
Kamila: Let’s not consider that... for now at least. Especially not with the ghost of Zenix over there... I pray he doesn’t remember me sending him on a death mission either...
Twelve: Not like my powers can deal with them all anyway... and then there’s that weird tiny one again...
Cherry: The one who took out that horrible psychic Pokemon, right...?
Kamila: Yes, and what... is it doing?
Twelve: Do. Not. Want. To. Know.
Cherry: M-Me either...
Kamila: Well... let’s... at least listen...
--
???: Emmit will still need time to properly recover and all, but he’ll be back in action by morning, promise!
Lizzy: T-thank you...! Um... Rteddy, right?
???: Sure, you can refer to me that way, if you want. I’m surprised... didn’t one of my “selves” take you on an unaproved trip to Alola? I’m sure if someone survived there, like say... Tapu Koko... you’d know allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll about me, right?
Enola & Gail: ...
Ripped Rteddy: Why would one of us do such a thing?
Lizzy: Just some silly nickname...
Tall Rteddy: Yes, though it’s clear that they are somehow alive after that fight, when they shouldn’t have been... we knew it wasn’t possible to win... so how did they?
???: It no longer matters... they wish to get in the way of my joy... like they can fix me... if they all survived they abandoned me...
Lizzy: ... R-right...
Zenix: Considering our situation, and considering this new element, and the fact that multiple Legends are involved... how should we proceed?
Rteddy: Emmit is fine, remember the gift I gave you all. That attack was merely more than his body could handle, if the damage exceeds what the regenerative properties of my gift to you provide... that happens... unfortunately. Not even my body can handle significant damage, well, save for the strongest of us.
Lizzy: B-But... we were s-supposed to have some kind of “lives”...
Rteddy: Remember what happened to RGB, I-or rather my true self-heavily damaged him, so much so that the damage, despite how minor it may have looked, was more than enough to drain him of the “lives” he was gifted... all I did was make it so he couldn’t return to his true form until... well... he somehow escaped the space we left him in... though I do wonder if my abilities were even truly impacting his existence... what my true self witnessed says otherwise...
Lizzy: ...
Rteddy: ... But this isn’t important right now... recall Enola and Gail before they act rashly, their lack of reaction is concerning... I’ll get Emmit, we need to retreat before he launches another attack. And remember, so long as I am around, I will not allow you to ever experience that again, I promise.
Lizzy: ... R-right...
----------
SNARK: It appears they are retreating, via an odd dark void-like portal... yes, it was indeed someone tied to Rteddy... quite lucky it wasn’t a resident of the village...
Orion: ... Then... I’ll stick around out here and...
SNARK: Your body is giving out, Orion.
Orion: I’m... fine...
SNARK: I’ll ask the others to come and help you inside, I will keep watch now... hmm.
Orion: Dark’s trying to find his own way to solve this issue... so we should focus on protecting ourselves.
SNARK: Well, last I checked, you’re all modified Pokemon with physical deformities or illnesses that keep you from functioning at 100%. Allow me to contact Dark, or the trainers in the village, I’m sure they can-
Orion: No, SNARK, I got this...
SNARK: What? Why?
Orion: Because...
------------
Rteddy: I see... I believe we should retreat then. It appears we’ve lost our base of operations thanks to something unexpected occurring with RGB...
Emmit: Whoa, seriously...
Lizzy: What... happened?
Rteddy: I am only being given the minimum amount of information necessary from my “better halves”, we will need to regroup before we act here, simple as that.
Enola: We’re ready for this, before you decided to take a nap! If we can pull this off, it’ll be a huge advantage or whatever, right?
Gail: I agree, the ones hiding here do appear to be quite weak compared to what we know of Reid or that white Pikachu... I believe we will be fine here. We have improved dramatically for this very moment, after all.
Rteddy: ...
Lizzy: That’s true... besides, we’re trying to gather information-
Rteddy: They know we’re here.
Emmit: Wait, what-
Rteddy: This was a while ago, but another version of myself discovered their computer on Kryona and tried to gather information from it... while we weren’t able to obtain much, we do recognize that machine’s frequency... it appears there was more than one and this one has many eyes on the area.
Lizzy: So, they’ve rigged the place with security cameras then? ... Um... where?
Rteddy: The trees, most likely. No one lives near this area, so they could lay down anything they prefer without much-if any-complaints.
Lizzy: Oh-
Enola: Psh... all the cameras in the world won’t help them if THAT is their defense... what is this weakened old Raichu gonna do? Huh?
Rteddy: ...! Well....
Rteddy: It appears this “weakened old Raichu” has found a way to defend.

Lizzy: Really? I don’t think I’ve ever been there before...
R-Teddy: It’s quite... beautiful...
Lizzy: You don’t... sound convincing, honestly-
R-Teddy: Because I-the one who attacked RGB in the end-was abandoned there...
Lizzy: ... O-oh-
R-Teddy: When you get there, you’ll find three Pokemon-it’s likely inevitable-they may remember me by the nickname-
Lycanroc: Come on! Out with it!!!
Lizzy: U-um...
Alolan Marrowak: You should just answer, get it over with already.
*ONE LIFE STORY-AND 10 ARC SUMMARY-LATER...*
Gumshoos: ... Hmm... So they’re even weirder...
Lycanroc: HEY!
A. Marrowak: So, you’re... not really-
Lizzy: L-let’s not focus on what I am... p-please...
A. Marrowak: I mean no offense by my thoughts... safe to say... I feel more connected to a strange case as you and your team. And while I cannot speak for everyone here, I am OK with testing their strength to train with Tapu Koko...
Lizzy: Tapu... Koko...?
Gumshoos: They’re the god of our island; Alola worships four Tapu, each protecting their own island, this one is protected by Tapu Koko, these ruins you’re in are known as the “Ruins of Conflict”. I’d say “Cloth-Chu” knew exactly where to send you...
Lycanroc: They were already pretty smart.
Gumshoos: Sure...
Lizzy: By... the way... um, those bands...
Lycanroc: Oh, right, you got into a fight with an S-Knight, right? No worries, we Alolan S-Knights operate a bit differently-
A. Marrowak: We answer to the Tapu, simple as that, being a Strident Knight is a formality granted to the apparent leader of the Knights.
Lycanroc: Right...
Gumshoos: We’d look bad as a major region if we didn’t side with these new individuals, besides... I don’t remember this conversation or that story, right guys?
Lycanroc: All I remember is hearing an old pal’s safe!
A. Marrowak: Hmm.
Lizzy: A-ah... thank you.
A. Marrowak: So. Your team? Let’s see if they’re worthy... come, all three of them, right now!
Lizzy: ...!! Emmit, Gail, Enola, let’s go!!!
A. Marrowak: Considering who you work with, you’d think they’d train you better... even humans have some uses in a battle...
Lycanroc: ...
Gumshoos: Granted, training them to not rely on your commands... hmm... that’s some exceptional training in my opinion... our trainer’d be proud.
Lizzy: ...
Lycanroc: Oh! You should meet our trainer! He can totally give you some advice-
A. Marrowak: Like how to abandon a member of your team?
Lycanroc: Shut it! Seriously, Lizzy, you should totally go and meet him!
Emmit: Guugh...
A. Marrowak: Oh? Round two? “Immortal” or not, you still have to deal with stamina... just stop, you’re too weak to contin-
Emmit: I... I’m not that weak...
Lizzy: Emmit, stop!
Lycanroc: ...
Gumshoos: Hmm... yeah, go see him... it’s safe to say Emmit there’s going to be powerful... I’d love to have a rematch one of these days...
A. Marrowak: Huuh...? You? Actually care about this weakling?
Lycanroc: Guys... you four should just go... they’re going to be at this for a while...
Lizzy: R-right...
---------------------------
Trainer: But that aside... I’m very sorry for what happened to you-
Lizzy: Y-you don’t have to apologize for that... you couldn’t do anything about it...
Trainer: I know, but, it still bothers me. As an outsider looking in, I’ve come to understand the beauty of Alola, and how, well, people and Pokemon are quite close here, they coexist much better than they would in, let’s say... Kanto for example, even Johto to some degree.
Lizzy: Outsider...?
Trainer: I moved here at a young age, right around the time I started my training journey... I learned a lot, obviously how to not view some of my team as too weak to use and, well, abandon them.
Lizzy: A-ah...
Trainer: I’d love to offer you help by any means... my Pokemon weren’t wrong about that, but... five minutes? Oh boy... you’ve got a lot of work cut out for you. I can help train your team while you’re here, plus... I can even offer methods to evolve your Murkrow and Haunter if you’d like.
Lizzy: H-huh... um...
Trainer: Think about it... really, it might be the best option if you intend to help this... Reid and Vris, like my old partner wishes.
Lizzy: ...
Trainer: I’ve read a bit about this... “Terrible Trio”... they’re not easy to deal with, I can only imagine what a near decade of hiding from the Strident Knights and who knows what else has done to them. If you have to fight them, you’ll want to be ready-do not rely on a handicap like your regeneration-like abilities... it’ll only create a false sense of confidence. You need to improve yourselves... I’m sure you never want to be put into a situation like the one that cost you your eye...
Lizzy: You’re... right. I guess I was relying on that, or... I wasn’t taking things seriously enough.
...
Emmit, Gail and Enola deserve better than that... I don’t want to hurt anyone on the Strident Knight’s side, but... they’re making themselves our enemies if they want to hurt Reid and Vris... and if their ‘friends’ want to keep them from R-Teddy...
Trainer: I’m just an outsider looking in on this too, so I can’t speak much for what they may have or haven’t done, but, I’ll gladly help you practice and even if I can’t give you a Z-Ring... the least I can do is help you understand ways to be able to help your team if you don’t want to be vulnerable.
Lizzy: R-really...?! Thank you!
Trainer: Not a problem, though I’d love to see you stick it to that smug Marrowak of mines sometime in the future, haha!
----------------------------
Gail: Ever since we started doing more than recons for Rteddy, it’s gotten harder and harder...
Enola: Yeah, but it was still fun to goof off!
Gail: Please tell me you’re going to stop that now-we didn’t train with those Pokemon in Alola for nothing, you know.
Enola: Well it didn’t show-
Gail: Because you chose to-let’s not argue about this now. I’ll admit, I was cocky...
Enola: And I like to play around too much for my own good...
Gail: We were beaten by a three-leg Luxio and a Pikachu mutant who is well past her prime, after being beaten by a Shadow Lapras and a Pikachu that’s just... strange overall. We have to fix this.
Enola: Well.
Gail: Well?
Enola: Heheheheheh....
Gail: Why don’t we suggest it to Lizzy and Emmit? I’m sure Reid’s “Friends” have a base of operations somewhere in Orre, right?
Enola: We could test our new skills out on them first~!! Let’s totally suggest it~
Gail: Sounds like a plan...
>Gail and Enola have evolved! Is... this a good thing...?
