Professor pitches in backstage at IHS
Professor J. Ellen Gainor, of the Department of Performing and Media Arts, is headed backstage this weekend to help cast members with their makeup for “Legally Blonde,” this year’s musical at Ithaca High School.
“This is an easier show than a lot of the shows that we do,” said Gainor, whose daughter, Loie Faulkner, plays four characters in “Legally Blonde.” “For example, when we did ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ I had to build a whole beard for the beast. So this one is pretty easy.”
