"I do”, the alarm was loud and made it hard to think, but the pulsing sensation of their Paladin and siblings never stopped beating. It provided a comfort no matter how weak it ever became due to distance, a feeling the Green Lion explained as the same kind of knowledge of where people were positioned in a room — just that they it was far more common they couldn’t see each other. A hand reached out, finger pointing to the right side of the corridor, never looking away from the door they were examining, “That way. My Paladin has been standing still for a while now”, as to why Green couldn’t know, but judging by their calm behavior Pidge was mostly unhurt. “The Red and Blue Lion haven’t moved from the castle yet”, and probably wouldn’t unless someone managed to contact them or too much time passed.
“As for Yellow...”, a pause and head turning to the side as if anticipating something. The SLAM disrupted the alarm, if even for a second, and while it didn’t catch the Green Lion off-guard, they still stumbled when the ship rocked abruptly, “they’re outside”, it was still spoken off almost nonchalantly, not really worrying about the situation just yet ( they didn’t like being apart from Pidge but a skew concept of time was to be expected of an old robot ). “I don’t know where the Black Paladin is. I assume with Pidge”, and maybe that was another fact to their lack of unease. Shiro had proved more than once that he was capable of keeping Pidge safe and with Pidge trusting Shiro Green had no problem doing the same.
They never stopped looking at the door while giving the status report, tracing the sides of it and occasionally praising the work. It was impressive, that was for sure. “Princess”, for the first time in the past ten minutes there was a tone of joy in their voice, turning around quickly with a smile that almost faded when they saw what she was doing, “...that won’t work. You’re just hurting yourself”, they said in concern, even if she wasn’t their Paladin she was still their PRINCESS, but quickly moved back to the matter at hand, “It’s there”, pointing to a spot on the ceiling close to the door, “It’s not visible, but there should be a panel you can take off, and if the design is as symmetrical as the rest there's one by your door too.”
This was fun. Completely different from sitting inside the castle and reading, this was adventure. What was it the others said last time they were in a bad spot, ‘We’ll laugh about this later’? They’d do that about this too.
And still, there was a tiny, t i n y problem.
“I”, tiptoeing, “can’t”, jump, “reach!”, another jump and flailing arm. ...At least they tried.
