he did fuck up, yeah, and he did it royally. but i still can’t force myself to dislike him, bc... when people are scared and/or desperate they do really, really dumb stuff. and i bet he’s going to regret it later, making someone a one-dimensional villain wouldn’t be very smart of gillen.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: i want baal to have a chance to actually say something to inanna. i want baal to get a chance to forgive and move on.
my OTP: baal/laura tbh, don’t get me wrong, i love the fact he had a thing with inanna, but for one side (him) it ended up badly and i’m p sure laura wouldn’t do the same thing.

a headcanon fact: baal is a mother friend of the pantheon. need something fixed up quickly? go to baal. need a shoulder to cry on? go to baal (just let him take his jacket off, don’t cry on his suit). need someone to yell at person who broke your heart? you bet your ass baal will be first in line to help.
